Last week Catherine and Sadie were honoured to be invited to a celebration event after participating in the Weston Charity Pilotlight programme over the last year. It was great to spend time with so many other incredible charities and hear their stories of progress and achievement.

Thank you to everyone involved including our amazing team of Pilotlighters, especially Shakil who led us through the programme. And Garfield Weston Foundation for your continued support!

We have amazing news! We only went and won Community Project of the Year at last night’s I Love NUL Awards!! 🙌🏻 🏆

There were some amazing community projects shortlisted in this category and we are thrilled to bits that so many of you nominated and voted for us - it really does mean a lot to us, so a huge thank you to you all 🙏 🤩

🌍💚 World Cerebral Palsy Day at Peter Pan! 💚🌍

This week at Peter Pan, we’ve been going green in support of World Cerebral Palsy Day 💚

The children have loved taking part in a variety of green-themed activities — from sensory play and messy fun to exploring with loose parts. It’s been a week full of learning, laughter, and lots of green sparkles! 💫

💚 It's National Non-Speaking / Non-Verbal Awareness Day 💚

Today we recognise and celebrate the many children and young people who are non-speaking or non-verbal.

Being non-verbal does not mean having nothing to say, it means finding different ways to communicate. From gestures and facial expressions to AAC devices, sign language, or other tools, every form of communication is valid and powerful.

At Contact, we know how important it is for families to have access to the right support and resources so that every child’s voice can be heard. Today we stand alongside non-speaking children, young people and their families, raising awareness and championing inclusion 💚

What a wonderful start to the new Peter Pan academic year 😍

We've loved welcoming back our returning children and settling in our lovely new starters. It's been a joy to see them exploring both our indoor and outdoor spaces with such excitement and making new friends along the way! 💜👏
