At the Peter Pan Centre we are dedicated to life-changing care and education for children with special educational needs and disabilities and the support their families deserve. At our centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme we support children aged 0-5 through weekly specialist Education, Care and Development sessions that follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, delivered by our team of dedicat

ed and caring expert Specialist Practitioners. At Peter Pan we are here for the whole family through our Family Support Service with advice for the home, weekend social activities, training courses on topics such as sleep or first aid, help with form-filling, support with transitions and specialist stay and play sessions at five locations across Stoke and North Staffs. We were awarded Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted for the fourth consecutive time in August 2022. We recently won the local ‘Your Heroes – Inspiration in Education’ Award for the difference we make to children and families across Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Cheshire East.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Peter Pan Centre's Charity golf day 2025 at the end of June - we are thrilled to announce that we were able to match last year's record breaking total and make another £20,000 to support local children with SEND and their families get the best start in life!

What a day yesterday was! The sun was shining, some great golf was played and thousands were raised for our children and families. Today we’re sending out a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing corporate partners at amb insurance services ltd .

Over the past 12 months, the team has raised an incredible £25,065 for The Peter Pan Centre – an extraordinary amount that really has gone above and beyond our expectations, and a true testament to their passion and commitment to supporting their local community.

From winning a £10,000 Aviva Broker Community Fund Award to ongoing fundraising efforts, their support has made a real and lasting difference to the lives of the children and families we work with. So Claire visited Andy, Pete, Mark and Jenny-Lea last week to say a personal thank you with on-brand purple flowers!

As a small charity supporting children aged 0–5 with special educational needs and disabilities, having corporate partners like AMB Insurance means the world to us. Their generosity helps us provide life-changing early support and gives families the strength and tools they need for the journey ahead.

We had a great day out this week at Peak Wildlife Park with the families for this months Family Meetup.

The weather was good, the coach journey went smoothly thanks to Stantons of Stoke , and everyone enjoyed exploring the park. The penguins were a clear favourite with both the children and adults!

We were able to deliver this trip thanks to support from the National Lottery Community Fund.

Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make the day a success.

It's time to celebrate our amazing staff 👏 After lots of hard work Kirsty, our Family Support Manager, has achieved accreditation as a Cerebra Intermediate Paediatric Sleep Advice Consultant (OCN Level 4). This means she has the tools and knowledge to fully assess and support complex sleep cases in children with disabilities and additional needs. This will enhance what the Peter Pan Centre can already offer parents and carers around sleep health and management, sleep intervention and family collaboration, plus family-based sleep support. Congratulations Kirsty! 🥳
