We’ve had a fantastic first term at the centre.
The children have settled in well and they’ve enjoyed exploring the inside and outside provision, discovering new resources, and exploring alongside their peers.
One of our 'wow' moments this term has been seeing how well the children have engaged in our Attention Bucket sessions. It’s been wonderful to watch their focus and engagement grow, joining in with clapping along to the song, repeating actions and sounds, and showing excitement and anticipation for the items used in stages 1 and 2.
The Attention Bucket is a structured, adult-led activity that helps develop children’s attention, communication, and social interaction skills.

We are so proud to share that our neighbours, Merryfields School, has been awarded the prestigious Beacon Award. This recognition is a testament to their exceptional work and significant impact on the understanding and support of autistic pupils, their families and the wider community. It is only presented to a small number of schools across the UK.

Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition everyone! You continue to have such a positive impact on the lives of local children with SEND 👏

Sempar Christmas Jumper Day 2025 🎄

Last week, Team Sempar got into the festive spirit for Christmas Jumper Day, enjoying a collective cheese board while proudly wearing our best Christmas knits.

This year, we’re supporting The PeterPan Centre for Children with Special Needs 💜

We’re still tallying up the team’s contributions, but as always, we’re incredibly proud to support such a fantastic charity and the amazing work they do at the centre.

today as we received a cheque for £500 from Pavers Foundation Pavers Shoes! Thank you Lisa and the team for nominating the charity for this funding which was donated as match funding for Danny's fundraising efforts when he ran the Potters Arf Marathon. Danny and Kim are pictured with their daughter Maisie who attended the Peter Pan Centre and is now doing amazingly at primary school! We love catching up with parents to find out how their children are doing and Maisie is coming on leaps and bounds 💜🥳

This demonstrates our commitment to good fundraising practices, ensuring all fundraising is safe, legal, open, honest and respectful to donors. Thank you to everyone who has helped raised thousands of pounds for the charity over the last 56 years 💜

Claire was thrilled to join Ann and John this afternoon, a wonderful couple who support the Peter Pan Centre every year through fundraising with their Alsager bowling group. An incredible £1,000 has been raised in 2025 and we can’t thank them enough for everything they do for our families 💜💜💜
