I’m Gaynor Grozier – A highly qualified, experienced and licensed acupuncturist. My passion for acupuncture therapy was born out of both personal and family experience, I love helping people and strive to help all my clients and patients improve and maintain positive health and prevent future disease or disharmony. I practice acupuncture daily; I learn daily and I achieve daily through the successes of my treatments and caring for others. It’s not just about what I can do through acupuncture, but also what I suggest my patients try at home in order to empower them through their own self-healing journey and help them feel more in control of their life and wellbeing. I really enjoy watching the transformation of the lovely souls I work with, below is a review from a recent visitor to the Gaynor Grozier Acupuncture clinic.

"I have recently finished a course of treatment for sciatica with Gaynor Gozier.

I'd had the pain for over 6 months and tried every other form of treatment. I was managing (if that is the word) through taking prescribed strong pain killers. Even so, I had to work standing up and try to sleep while propped up on pillows.

Someone told me that they had good results from acupuncture. Although very sceptical, I contacted Gaynor and I'm so grateful that i did.

Gaynor was totally up front about the treatment - that it was unlikely to be a quick fix. However within a couple or so visits, i was reducing the pain killers and I was soon off them competely.

The treatment was delivered in a highly professional and caring way, and Gaynor explained everything in an understanable manner.

On the outside I was struggling with painful periods, incredible weight gain and constant mood swings, but you don't have too.

Menstrual synptoms may be a sign of hormonal imbalances and could be getting in the way of you conceiving.

Acupuncture not oly regulates your hormones but also helps with pain, Fbroids, Endometriosis, PCOS, irregular periods, ovarian reserve, to name a few.

I am really passionate about acupuncture and watching my clients health transform.

"I had been going through the menopause from hell from the age of 42 I’m now
54 the sweats were unbelievable I had to sit on a towel if I was relaxing on sofa as my whole body would sweat excessively in what was suppose to be a flush I looked and felt like I’d run a marathon permanently exhausted hair soaked through nightmare also had sweats through the night which led to being prescribed sleeping tablets, hrt caused awful side effects so had to stop taking it took sage ,black kiosh,patches every herbal remedy known to man Doctor even prescribed antidepressants but nothing worked so I read online about acupuncture and thought well I may as well give it ago so I contacted Gaynor she explained it all to me and put me at ease told me two or three sessions would be needed before I’d see any improvement I thought ok nothing left to loose might as well give it ago honestly I was blown away because after two sessions I was surprised there was an improvement I no longer needed my fan and my sweat had become a warmth about three times a day by my fifth session I have no sweats /flushes through the day my energy is back my head clearer and my sleep is better I have only 3 or 4 flushes through the night but we are still just tweaking last bit I’m am amazed and so grateful to begin to feel like me again I would recommend it to anyone in fact I have my husband starts his sessions soon for hip pain I can’t wait for a hot summer this year as I will be able to enjoy it to its fullest thankyou gaynor"

The body has an amazing innate ability to heal itself, but sometimes it gets stuck and we often need to reach out to seek pain-relieving remedies. My client did exactly that, hear's what she has to say:

"Before visiting Gaynor, I had suffered 9wks of crippling pain due to a bulging disc in my lower spine which was also causing sciatica. On my first visit, I could not stand for very long or stand up straight. It was an emotional first visit. Gaynor is lovely and reassured me that she could help relieve my pain. Our Story

An interest in Acupuncture developed following a succession of treatments that put me back on the road to recovery. Having experienced the benefits that Acupuncture can offer, I wanted to understand more. This lead to my degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine, studied at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. As an adjunct to full body acupuncture, I also practice TuiNa, Korean Hand Therapy, Auricular Acupuncture, Cupping and Gua Sha and often use a mix of techniques to restore your health.
