A wide range of services are provided to promote good health:

Long-term conditions reviews — these are tailored to the combination of long term conditions and needs of each person (e.g. high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma/COPD, rheumatoid arthritis, dementia)
INR checks (for people taking warfarin treatment) (run by the
nursing team)
Learning disabilities annual review
Severe Mental Illness a

Frailty Admissions Avoidance Scheme — including
Assessments of Needs and Holistic Assessments
Cervical smears and contraception, including HRT (run by the practice nurses)
Baby immunisations
Child health checks
Antenatal clinic (run by the practice-attached midwife)

Our appointments are provided by a wide range of clinicians who are expert in the care delivery they are responsible. It is often not necessary to see a GP for many of the services above, though a GP is always on hand to offer advice if required.

👥 What is the PPG?
The Patient Participation Group is a group of patients, carers, and practice staff who meet to discuss the services offered by the practice and how they can be improved.

💬 Why Join the PPG?
✔ Share your views and help shape local healthcare
✔ Work with staff to improve patient experience
✔ Be involved in decisions about new services
✔ Promote health and wellbeing in the community
✔ Receive updates and stay informed about the practice

🧠 Who Can Join?
We welcome patients of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. You don’t need any experience—just an interest in improving the care we provide.

🕒 How Much Time Does it Take?
We meet a few times a year—either in person or online. Can’t attend meetings? You can still take part via email updates and surveys!

This morning we have experienced a number of brief power outages. These have cut off our phone system without warning and have affected access to the computers. These outages are lasting only a second or two but the systems are taking up to a few minutes to reboot each time.
