The power of a good lip 🤩

Lips are powerful, and done well.. they can change your entire face.. for the better. Here’s why ; ⠀

We use the golden ratio of 1-1.618 to determine if a treatment will or will not benefit a patients life. ⠀

It’s an objective finding in science ( based on maths ) that anything (whether that be a person / nature / architecture ) found to be within this ratio is more objectively beautiful. This isn’t up for debate - it’s been proven. Anything that will move a patient further towards the divine ratio is likely to have a positive impact on their overall wellness and psychological well-being. ⠀

As with all patients we will assess the face prior and use this to guide our treatment plan entirely. We can’t just carry out a treatment because ‘ Sandra wanted it ‘ .... it doesn’t work like that. ⠀

Our patient above is naturally beautiful, but we recognised she would benefit from height in her lips in order to ensure that her lip - chin ratio is 1.618 - the most beautiful it could be. Based on the medical model - we can be sure that the treatment has not only made our patient even more objectively beautiful - the treatment is totally justified. ⠀

❌ Firstly- Absolutely no products or touching for 3 hours post treatment

✔️Afterwards you can apply a good quality, moisturising lip product.

🤚VASELINE DOES NOT ADD MOISTURE 🤚

❌Vaseline acts as a protective barrier which prevents moisture from escaping and also prevents your lips from absorbing water.

My go to product post lip filler is the MUST HAVE-

👄 ‘Lip Calm’
This amazing product is infused with arnica oil which helps to reduce swelling.
It has a beautiful versatile colour which helps to disguise any bruising/blemishes and it smells amazing too!! AVAILABLE TO BUY IN CLINIC 💖

💦 Up your water intake

💡Lip filler is made up of Hyaluronic acid which has the ability to absorb up to 1000 times its weight in water.
