A great Sunday morning as our Mini & Juniors played fixtures against our friends from Stafford RUFC

Our Under 8s enjoyed there fourth game of the season.

They took on a really talented group of Stafford under 8s.

Both clubs have fantastic numbers so there was always two consecutive matches.

Both matches were always fast, intense, and of an incredibly high standard of rugby for 7 year olds.

The games were fiercely competitive but played in great spirit on a gorgeous morning surrounded by lots of othe Lington and Stafford fixtures.

The player of the match awards went to Arthur and Harrison.

A big well done also to coach Rob for getting the team up to such a high standard.

Day 27-30 done. I’m doing this event for my wife Lyndsey Marchant director of Phoenix Occupational Health. You may know or not know that Lyndsey had a brain tumour removed just before New Year’s Eve 2023, she’s doing amazingly well considering. I’m just trying to give a little back for this brilliant yet under funded side of cancer.

We take your health and safety seriously. So when we are allowed to do face to face assessments ( or if we do a risk assessment which shows that you NEED one), we will be wearing scrubs, why? They wash at 60 - virus killing temperature.... and they are like pyjamas so the Covid weight I put on wont matter!!!
