Today is a very sad day for Austin Ben but a very well deserved and happy day for our carer of 8 years

Deb has officially retired today, and what can we say about Deb 🤣 she has brought, laughter, joy, exceptional care skills to not only her service users but to her colleagues too.

Thank you Deb for all your hard work, dedication and commitment to Austin Ben, you will be truly missed by all, we hope you enjoy your retirement 🥳

⭐️Last week, we celebrated Carers Week by asking staff, service users, and their families to nominate individuals they felt deserved a shout-out, along with their reasons. The response was truly fantastic, with most carers highlighting that all staff deserve recognition. There couldn't be a more true saying than "not all superheroes wear capes - they wear tunics."

Care work can be tireless, demanding, and at times, very upsetting. However, our staff continue to do this work because they simply care. We have been distributing recognition certificates along side small appreciation gifts, and will continue to do so the rest of this week too. ⭐️
