Regular cervical screening (Pap/smear tests) plays a vital role in preventing cervical cancer by detecting early cell changes, often caused by high-risk HPV, which many people may not know they have. Awareness campaigns aim to increase uptake, address anxiety, dispel myths, and explain the simple, life-saving test.
