The practice will be closing at the earlier time of 12.30pm on Tuesday the 23rd of September 2025 along with other practices in Gateshead for training purposes. If you require urgent medical advice whilst the surgery is closed please ring NHS 111 and in the case of an emergency contact the emergency services on 112 or 999.
The surgery will reopen at 9am on Wednesday the 24th of September 2025.

🔴 Surgery update 🔴

As some patients may know Dr McCleary will unfortunately be retiring and leaving the practice this year.

From now Dr McCleary will now only be working Fridays until her final date which is Friday 31st of October.

We hope you will help us wish Dr McCleary a wonderful retirement 😊

From Dr Mirza Hassan:

'We said our goodbyes to Dr Pepper this week and in her place we have two new doctors. Dr Pallabi is our new GP who has recently qualified and will be working Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

We also have Dr Hook who is at the beginning of her GP training and is with us for the next six months.

On behalf of the surgery I would like to extend a warm welcome to both.'
