Passed away peacefully in Hospital on 21st August 2025 aged 72 years.

Sue, a beloved Mam of Andrew, loving Mother-in-law of Julie, cherished Nana of Nicholas, Liam, Jessica and Courtney, Great-Nana of Kieran, Hallie-Mae, Willow, Ellie, Freya and Nick, devoted Sister of Phillip, Gail, Stewart, Jill and Heath, Auntie of Laura and friend to many.

Please meet for a celebration of Sue's life at Saltwell Crematorium on Wednesday 10th September 2025 at 3:15pm. Floral tributes welcome or donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Cancer Research UK via a collection at the Crematorium.

Bernadette Fitzpatrick of Dunston died peacefully on 15th August, aged 87 years.

She was the beloved Wife of the late Patrick, a loving Partner of Richard, dearly loved Mam of Mary, Ann, Val, Ken and David, and Mother-in-law of Billy and Terry. Bernadette was also a treasured Nana and Great-Grandma, and she will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral Service to be held at Saltwell Crematorium, Gateshead on Thursday 11th September at 2.30pm.
Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu would be welcome for St Bede’s Hospice at the QE Hospital.

Today we received some beautiful home made cupcakes from Lisa, the daughter of the late Michael Wright, who our Funeral Director Joe and the team had the privilege of looking after last week.
