Tragically passed away on 5th March 2026 aged 29 years.

Paul, beloved Son of Angela & Chris, loving Partner of Anna, devoted Dad of Charlie and Freddie, dearly loved Brother of David, Britney, Tamzin and Miley, adored Grandson of Ken, loving Nephew of Andrea and Amanda, Cousin of Craig, Alan, Tammy, Shannon, James, Harvey, Michael, Caitlin and Kelsey and a dear friend to many.

Would family and friends please meet for service at West Road Crematorium on Wednesday 25th March 2026 at 10:15am.

PROUD to say we have 2 amazing Female Funeral Directors here at John Bardgett's.

They carry themselves with the upmost professionalism and with nearly 40 years experience between them they've helped countless families at a time when they need it the most.

Today we celebrate them and all the compassionate, loyal and empathetic women we have the privilege to call our colleagues.

We also take the time to remember all the amazing women no longer with us and carry them in our hearts

In honour of we are proud to have four generations worth of handwritten ledgers and bank books.

One of the photos is from a 103 year old bank book which was stamped on 27th November 1923.

They represent a fraction of the years of service we have had the honour and privilege of providing our community.

Way back in 1951 ... The Bardgett fleet of Rolls Royce Silver Wraiths Taken on Grange Road Fenham, the house in the background is where John Bardgett lived.
It's semi detached and the other half was the Holy Cross Vicarage.
Next to that was the Bardgett wood yard where the timber was seasoned!

Peacefully passed away in Hospital on Saturday 27th December 2025 aged 82 years.

Peggy, beloved Sister, Aunty, neighbour and friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
