I’ve had some serious issues with my knee for the last 4 months.

I’m 42 so obviously I have arthritis in the joint 💁🏼‍♀️😩
Plus a nasty lateral meniscus tear.
It’s been sore to say the least.
Some days I’ve struggled to walk - and for someone with a physical job that’s be less than ideal 🥺

But it’s getting so much better every week.

Getting to move pain free is a joy.
Getting to exercise is a privilege.

You can have every problem in the world - but when your health becomes a problem it overshadows everything else.

Don’t take it for granted, look after yourself ❤️‍🩹

I’ve seen far too much judgement lately….. from other women 😩

‘Modesty dressing’ for the gym - WTAF 😳

So now apparently we aren’t allowed to take a shirt off in the gym in the warmer weather 💁🏼‍♀️…..

Let me remind you - wear whatever the f*ck you want, if you’re slaying it in the gym - you’re winning 🙌🏻🫶🏻

Having recently spoken about my business has given me a little time for reflection about how far I’ve come on this journey…..

I’ve always been clear about the message I wanted to give out, and provide a safe, inclusive space where women could come and train with me either in a group, in a pair or solo.

I genuinely feel like ‘all roads lead to Rome’ - or in my case - all my previous career experience & qualifications have helped me to build my business to what it is today 🫶🏻

I’m forever grateful for all the clients that have come to me over the years, those that have come, those that have moved on, those that have been here since day one - THANK YOU ☺️

Hopefully giving you a few ideas for meals & how to realistically balance a busy lifestyle with nutrient dense foods 😋

I always like to mention that on this day I also took a full body class at the gym AND hit I’ve 15K steps this day.

I don’t track calories or macros but like to eat mindfully - and I never ‘miss meals!’

I get the ‘idea’ of prioritising me time but the difficulties of implementing it

I also get the idea that starting your own business might be terrifying! I’ve also been there too!

My glutes class has been pretty much the same formula for the last three years - and consistently with glute growth is KEY.

Increasing the weights when things start to feel ‘easier’ and a good activation of the muscles at the start have played fundamental roles in helping all the regular members of this class grow 🎉🙌🏻
