✨ Dynamic vs Static Cupping ✨

What’s the difference?

Dynamic Cupping
This technique involves gliding the cups across a larger area. With lighter suction, the blood flow increase is less than Static Cupping, but this can reduce dehydration. It enhances the benefits from sports massage. Expect temporary overall redness that fades within a few days (ideal if you’ve got holidays coming up)

Static Cupping
Uses stronger suction which increases blood flow more, with the cups placed on specific areas. This treatment is great for targeting deeper tension. You will notice circular marks ranging from red to purple which are completely normal but can last from several days to a few weeks. This treatment can feel ‘tighter’ while the cups are on.

🐙Benefits of both techniques may include:
- Improved mobility & range of movement
- Increased circulation
- Reduces Inflammation
- Reduces muscular tension
- Speeds up recovery
- Removes toxins

There’s no “better” option, I’ll always just recommend the approach most suited to your needs.

First time treatment for one of our lovely new clients who’s been suffering from shoulder and back pain which has restricted gym progress.

A combination of sports massage, vacuum cupping, medical acupuncture and IASTM was needed for best results💪
