The earth has always known how to hold us.
In her stones. In her soil. In her quiet, steady presence beneath our feet.

An alter is simply us remembering.
A pause. A prayer. A place to listen .

Which one is calling you?

TINY BREATH RITUAL #1
The greatest medicine we have is our breath.
Yet so many of us move through life completely disconnected from it.
So this week, I want to share a tiny practice with you.
One that takes seconds.
Requires zero motivation.
And works precisely because it’s so small.
It’s called the Tiny Breath Ritual, inspired by behaviour design pioneer BJ Fogg.

Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ EXISTING ROUTINE
Choose something you already do every single day without fail.

2️⃣ NEW BEHAVIOUR
Attach a conscious breath to it.
Maybe even three.

3️⃣ CELEBRATE
Do something small in the moment that makes you smile.
A whispered yes.
A softened shoulder.
A tiny moment of return.

Meet this week’s ritual :-)

KETTLE BREATH
Routine: Boiling the kettle.
Breath: Three slow, conscious breaths while the water heats.
In through the nose.
Long, steady exhale.

Celebrate: A small smile.
A whispered yes.

That’s it.
Thirty seconds.
No app.
No pressure.
No motivation needed.

The power lives in the tiny moments we already have. The moments that so often become tension, rushing, scrolling, or disconnection.

Tiny breaths.
Tiny rituals.
Tiny returns to yourself.
Tiny moments, that overtime lead to huge transformations.

Let me know how this lands the next time you boil the kettle for a warming drink.

Beautiful souls.

I've opened space for my three 1:1 pathways, each held in a deep, trauma-informed container online, or in person at .studio in Tynemouth.

🌬️ Return to your Breath. A4-session journey for those carrying anxiety, burnout, or disconnection. Personalised breath assessment, CO₂ tolerance guidance, daily integration practices.

🌹 Return to your Womb. A 6-session ceremonial pathway for women navigating fertility challenges, grief, life transitions, or a longing to reclaim creative, sensual energy.

🔥 Return to Safety. A 6 or 12-week journey blending conscious connected breathwork, functional breath, and energy healing to gently unwind stored trauma and restore inner balance.

Each pathway is held with over 1000 hours of trauma-informed training, more than a decade of working in recovery, and a deep reverence for the sacredness of your nervous system.

If you feel the call, send me a message and we can arrange a complimentary Connection Call.

With love, Vicky 🤍

She told me at the start that her brain raced.
That she overthought everything.
That she had been hyper-vigilant for as long as she could remember because of the life she had lived.

When the body has lived through something difficult, it learns to stay on guard. Long after the danger has passed, the nervous system can keep operating as though it hasn't; still watchful, still scanning, still ready. It's the body doing what it learned to do to keep us safe.

We didn't push anything in this breathwork session.
We let the breath meet the nervous system and invited the body, gently, into rhythms it could say yes to.
No force. Just the breath, and a room safe enough for the body to trust it.

For the first time.

This is the line I keep coming back to.
Not because the breath is magic. (although it actually is :-) )
But because the body, even a body that has lived through the most difficult of times, still knows the way home. It just sometimes needs a moment of feeling safe, and someone to sit beside while it remembers.

If you have been told your mind will never quiet down, I want you to know there is a way.

The breath is the language your nervous system is waiting for.
🤍

So grateful for this review from a beautiful, kind human in recovery. Thankyou.

"I have a racing brain and overthink everything and hyper-vigilant due to the life I've lived. I have PTSD, and doing the breathwork exercises for the first time I felt relaxed and calm in my mind."

Do you hear her calling?

Cacao is an ancient keeper of wisdom.
She welcomes you into your heart and flows through the river in your veins.

I have been working with Cacao for over 6 years now and my relationship with her deepens as my body softens and breath expands. Her medicine is the bridge to coming deeper into loving sensations of your body, and she truly speaks to you when we choose to listen.

Last week I sat in ceremony with a group of divine sisters as we connected our conscious breath, opened to the energy of Beltane, and received .uk and her beautiful fertile fruit. I am so in love with this alter adorned with blossoms and lemon balm with the fruit of cacao at the heart of it all.

A co-creation of magic.

Beautiful, slow and spacious.

Full of gratitude for these moments and creations.

Tiny Breath Ritual: The Threshold Breath

The breath you take before you walk into a room can change everything.

Mental Health Awareness Week starts tomorrow, and I want to share a 5-second breath ritual that can shift your state in the now moment, in the real moments that matter.

There's a small, sacred moment that happens multiple times a day, and most of us move straight through it without noticing.

The threshold.

The pause before you open the front door after a long day. The two seconds between closing your laptop and walking into the meeting. The breath you take, or don't take, before a difficult conversation. The exhale you skip between calls, recovery mertings, family dinners.

The slowness and presence lives in the threshold.

This is where the nervous system either gets a micro-reset, or it doesn't. And after a whole day of doesn't, the overwhelm you feel is your body telling you it never had a simple moment to land.

So here's the Tiny Breath Ritual for this week.

The Threshold Breath:

→ Hand on the door handle (or the laptop or the phone, whatever the threshold moment is)
→ One slow inhale, one slow exhale, longer than the inhale.rhrough pursed lips if it helps.
→ Then enter.

Easy as that. Five seconds max. No app. No motivation.

Just your breath.

The power behind the formula. .......
Tiny Breath Rituals work because they're small, simple, and meet you exactly where you are. Your existing routines, or triggers become the prompt.

Inspired by behaviour design pioneer BJ Fogg, the formula is:

1. Existing routine — in this case, the threshold

2. New behaviour — attach one conscious breath. Maybe three.

3. Celebrate — mark the win. A whispered yes! A small fist pump. Something that makes you smile.

That's the whole practice.

Starting tiny always leads to transformation. And the breath you take at the threshold is the difference between holding tension, and meeting the moment with full blown presence.

Id love to know if you give it a try. Let me know how it lands.

It's been a while, so I thought I'd share a little bit about me and how I came to breathwork.

Here goes...

For most of my teens, twenties and thirties, I lived in survival.

My nervous system was stuck on high alert, masked as resilience and coping.

Addiction. Chaos. The constant pressure to perform my way through low self-esteem that was met with daily migraines, insomnia, and anxiety that eventually forced me to stop, listen, and make some changes. It was the point where there was no other option.

What I came to understand changed everything:

My survival patterns weren't flaws, they were patterns I had learned to stay safe.

And that my body was communicating with me....LOUDLY; trying to grab my attention, but I just hadn't yet tuned into the language of it.

What is so powerful is that the breath is that language.

It is the bridge between the part of us that is trying to survive, and the part of us that is ready to come alive.

I love what Tony Robbins shares about pain and transformation: "Out of your deepest pain will come your greatest gift, but only if we take control of the meaning."

My pain became the bridge to transformation.

And I can honestly say that my breath became the path back home.

I spent twelve years inside the addictions and recovery field, sitting with people who had also been brought to their knees by survival patterns they never chose. I understood those patterns intellectually. But it wasn't until I found the breath that I began to understand them in my body.

In 2023, I left my career to devote myself fully to this work bringing breathwork to heart-led people, leaders and organisations.

When I took the leap I had never felt more clear or confident about anything in my life. Not a single doubt. And I still have that passion and certainty flowing through me.

If you are reading this, and your body has been speaking to you for a long time, maybe in symptoms, in sleeplessness, in that quiet sense of something is off, your body is calling you, and your pain is asking to be heard.

The breath is one of the most direct ways back.

🌬️

If any of this lands with you, I'd love to hear what stirred. Drop a word in the comments, or just take three slow breaths and let your body answer for you.

Last fortnight we closed and celebrated the end of our 10-month breathwork journey together.

What an incredible journey it has been.

Each sister coming home to their own unique aliveness, and opened to edges they didn't know existed.

We have cried together, laughed together, breathed in deep rhythm and truth.

Each one breathing slower, fuller, with greater ease. Each one more deeply connected to their medicine and soul gifts. Each one devoted to bringing healing breaths to their communities and the world.

What a gift to lead with.

This was my first ever group training that I've delivered, a 400-hour GPBA accredited programme and it's truly been amazing taking me deeper into embodiment and trust.

I always come home to the remembrance that once I never thought this was possible. For years my voice would be paralysed in every team meeting, in every group I was meant to share in, throughout my times in further education. All of the wisdom I so desperately wanted to share stayed stifled beneath my armour of protection.

It's the most powerful reminder that the greatest things in life come from choosing courage over fear. When we learn to lean into resistance and stretch our capacity to feel what keeps us stuck. This is where we break into realms we never thought possible.

That's what I have witnessed in every single woman who stepped into this 10-month container. ✨✨✨✨✨✨

Still swimming in the waters of gratitude and integration… maybe for forever. I'm a happy little chappie.

The next intake is coming. If you feel the call, please reach out.

With love.
