Patrick Francis Byatt (Paddy)

At rest on Sunday 13th July 2025 whilst at the RSUH, Paddy aged 73 years of Bentilee.

Much loved husband of Susan, loving dad of Sandra, Anna-Maria, Simon and Robert, cherished father-in-law of Victoria and Andrew. Loving grandad of Jordan, Sally-Ann, Carla Jade, Richie and great-grandad of Charlie, Rudi and baby bump on the way. Paddy will be deeply and sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends.

Funeral service and cremation at Carmountside Crematorium on Monday 11th August 2025, at 11:15am.

William Bowes (Billy)

Suddenly on Monday 7th July 2025 whilst at the RSUH, Billy aged 69 years of Newcastle.
Much loved husband of Cath, devoted dad of Jayne, Jacqueline and Kerry. Cherished father-in-law of Russ, Mark and Ricky. Much loved and devoted grandad of Ethan, Jack, Cayden, William, Ruby, Thomas, Korban, Ezra, Dax, Olivia and great-grandad of Jacob.
Loving son of Edwina and the late Jeffrey. Brother of Jeffrey.
Billy will be deeply and sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends.

Funeral Service and Cremation at Bradwell Crematorium on Monday 4th August 2025 at 12noon.
Would all those wishing to attend please meet at the Crematorium.

Floral tributes welcome, or if preferred donations in memory of Billy for the Donna Louise Trust c/o the Funeral Directors, a donation box will be available on the day for anyone wishing to make a donation at the Crematorium.

Alison Jayne Heap (AJ)

At rest on Friday 4th July 2025 whilst at the RSUH, Alison aged 53 years of Abbey Hulton.
Beloved wife of Paul, daughter of Glynis, Alan and adopted dad Keith.
Loving mum of Michael, Sasha and children. Stepmum of Christopher, cherished nana to Leah, Ruby and Harvey.
Cherished sister of Keith, Russell, Lisa and beloved daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, auntie, cousin and friend to many.
Alison will be deeply and sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and many friends.

Antony Paul Powell (Toe / Tony)

Peacefully at rest after a short illness, now pain free, on Thursday 12th June 2025 whilst at the RSUH, Tony aged 63 years of Trent Vale.

Much loved husband of Ann, loving dad of Paul and Carl, much loved friend of Lucy, Dora and Mandy.

Tony will be deeply and sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends.

A lovely service this morning was at Carmountside Crematorium for the late Doctor Golash. Absolutely stunning floral arrangements by our florist Donna. Thank you to Fred Gee and Amber for assisting today also, as always well turned out to perfection.

Dr Balkrishna will be deeply and sadly missed by all his loving family and many friends.

Today’s service was at Carmountside Crematorium for the late Beryl, a lovely service officiated by Pastor Edward Crompton.

Beryl will be deeply and sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends.
