Chase Park is a specialist neurological care home in Newcastle / Gateshead. We provide rehabilitation services to people with neurological and long-term nursing conditions. Our purpose is to promote service users' well-being and to work with them ensuring their best interests are respected while assisting adults that require long-term nursing needs as well as those moving back into independent living after a period of rehabilitation. Chase Park supports adults of all ages, abilities and disabilities. We aim to promote the independence, inclusion and well-being of people with support needs. We do this by working with individuals, their families, and partner agencies to deliver innovative, high quality services that meet the individual’s needs and aspirations in a person-centred way. Chase Park Neuro Centre is a 60 bedded centre based over 2 buildings surrounded by accessible gardens and is next to Chase Park and Whickham Town Centre. The grounds and park provide a tranquil setting for care, therapy and rehabilitation. Chase Park Neuro Centre has an on-site Health Club with facilities that have been specifically designed to be fully accessible for people of all ages and abilities.

Every year, World Health Day is celebrated to mark the anniversary of the founding of the World Health Organisation (WHO) in 1948, with a different theme every year.

This year, the focus is on 'Global Action for Universal Health Coverage' - the idea that people should have access to healthcare without service limits or steep costs 🏥

Our hydrotherapy suite is discreetly situated at the back of the Health Club and offers our residents unique health benefits, including:

We are proud to introduce a special space within our health club, Chase Park's Lending Library - “Read, Enjoy, Return” 📚💙

Our Lending Library was created in loving memory of our dear resident, LD, whose passion for reading brought so much joy and inspiration to those around her. We felt there could be no more fitting tribute than to honour her legacy by encouraging others to share in the simple pleasure she treasured so deeply.

LD was a valued member of the Chase Park for over 20 years. It was both a privilege and an honour to care for her and to build such meaningful connections during her time with us. The conversations we shared, the stories she told, and the warmth she brought to each day are memories we will forever hold close.

ICYMI: Scafell Pike Charity Hike ⛰️💙

Amanda Lonie and her group of friends are taking on the challenge of climbing Scafell Pike on the 28th of May 2026 in aid of Chase Park's Client Activity Fund!

A big well done to the group who have smashed their original target of £500 15 weeks early and have upped the target to £700 🎯

The group are doing amazing, but they are still seeking donations to drive them up England's highest peak. Every donation will go towards activities that enrich our residents' lives through meaningful activities, outings, and experiences 💫🏔️

All staff, residents, and families would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jude, our Registered Manager, as she moves on to the next chapter of her journey.

Jude, your dedication, leadership, and unwavering support have made a truly lasting impact on Chase Park. The care, time, and effort you have invested in both residents and staff have helped create a warm, supportive, and positive environment that so many people call home. The improvements and changes you have introduced have not only strengthened the service but have also made a meaningful difference to the everyday lives of those living and working here.

Your kindness, compassion, and approachable nature have always stood out. You have been someone people could turn to for guidance, reassurance, and support, and that has meant a great deal to both colleagues and families alike.

The families of Chase Park would also like to express their sincere gratitude for the care and understanding you have always shown them. Your willingness to listen, your empathy, and the respect you have given to everyone have never gone unnoticed.
