How to STOP self sabotage to optimise your week ahead! Steer YOUR week in the right directionā¦š§ š
Itās Sunday night, youāre already dreading tomorrow and replaying all of last weekās failuresā¦
How many of you have predicted the footy results, just from judging your teams past performance?
āAh we never win against Chelseaā, āour defense is so badā ect.
Thatās exactly what many of you are doing every time you look at your week ahead!
You look at how bad last week was, at what went wrong, and all the areas you failed.
This is called a self fulfilling prophecy
Every time you do it, you are preparing for failure!
Your brain believes what you tell it, and if you focus on all the times you messed up, then you will believe the same results will repeat themselvesā¦
And often, this causes them to.
Stop going into your week saying āI failed the last 5 meetings, pitches, salesā ect because you will certainly lose the 6th with that mindset.
Instead, focus on the now, and what is in your control, in the present, not the past.
Our past is just a story.
And stories only have power if you keep repeating them.
And this also works both ways- if there was something you always do right, or are successful at, then lean into it, and give that confidence more power.
