What a lovely morning me and John have had feeding the ducks and having a little picnic in the park, brought back loads of memories for John of coming here as a boy with his brother Norman… John even had the geese eating out his hand, he did warn us he’s always been able to get all the birds… never knew he meant actual birds though ahah 😂😋👍

Who doesn’t love being in the garden on a hot day… I know here at Bowland Lodge Care Home come rain or shine their is always someone wanting to be in the garden😂… so we’ve spent lots of time planting flowers pulling weeds and saving the bees 😂 we love spending time watching the progress of all our newly planted flowers sprouting, it’s a very rewarding feeling for our residents seeing the results of their hard work in the garden everyday ❤️

Self care is very important, taking time for yourself to pamper yourself is one thing everyone needs to be doing and here at Bowland Lodge Care Home we love having a pamper day… relaxing music, foot spas and nail treatments for everybody… this was a highly sought out service.. so busy infact I forgot to take more photos 🫢🫣

calling all BINGO lovers… our residents love a good game of bingo, but they love winning more haha, another afternoon spent having lots of fun, socialising with refreshments listerning to old classic music and spending time with one another, shout out to our amazingly caring carers who spent time helping us make sure we didn’t miss any numbers being called ❤️❤️
