I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself, especially as Iโve welcomed some lovely new faces to this pageโso a big warm welcome to you all! ๐
My journey into holistic therapies began many years ago while I was looking for ways to manage anxiety and PTSD. Thatโs when I discovered meditation and Reiki, and both completely transformed my life. Reiki in particular has been life changing! I can honestly say I wouldnโt be the person I am today without it. Iโm now proud to be a teacher of both Angeli Reiki and Reiki Ryoho sharing the very gift that helped me in my own heal journey.
Recently, I have also been diagnosed with ADHDโsomething that has uncovered parts of myself I never fully understood before. Through my Reiki practice, Iโve been able to embrace these discoveries with compassion for myself which has been much needed. This whole experience has deepened my love for supporting women on their own journeys of self-discovery, especially those navigating similar challenges to my own. ๐๐ป
Before starting my business, I spent 17 wonderful years working with young people with Autism in education, as well as supporting families as a Play and Inclusion Advisor and playworker for Newcastle City Council. Those years taught me so much, and Iโll forever be grateful for the incredible young people who shaped my journey. One of my favourite moments was being stopped on the bus by someone who remembered me as their playworkerโit made me feel old (haha!) but so proud too. ๐
While working with children, I saw first-hand how powerful holistic therapies could be, especially through positive touch. That inspired me to study massage, aromatherapy, and reflexology. What began with offering treatments to parents and friends soon blossomed into the business I run today.
Now, Iโm honoured to offer Reiki, psychic readings, Indian head massage, holistic workshops, and Reiki training from my cosy home-based therapy room. And yesโI also paint angels, connect mediumistically, and embrace the gifts I once didnโt fully understand. Stepping into my power changed everything: it connected me with my soulโs purpose, attracted my tribe, and allowed me to share my gifts openly with the world. ๐
As my path has evolved, Iโve discovered that my true passion lies in supporting women who want to reconnect with themselvesโmind, body, and spirit. Because when women come together in their power, magic happens. ๐ซ
One of my favourite quotes by Maya Angelou says it beautifully:
โA woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and herself only.โ
So here I amโready to support you, celebrate you, and help you shine. ๐ท And if you know me, you know there will always be singing, stories, and plenty of analogies along the way! ๐ถ
