Soothing sessions with Happy Hands SEND Massage 👐

The Immersive Room provided the perfect environment for some of our young members to benefit from our first visit by Happy Hands SEND Massage.

Specifically designed for our young members with special educational needs and disabilities aged between two and ten years old, the Happy Hands therapists massaged hands and feet, helping to encourage relaxation and support wellbeing. The soothing effects were boosted with a tranquil backdrop of sunflowers in our stunning Immersive Room.

The sessions were so well received that we have booked two more for August – one for adults and one for children. Watch our activities centre What's On list for more information or give our friendly Recreation Assistants a ring on 0191 267 8118

We’ve had another great term with our two baby classes & our toddler class (funded by NAPI).
Zoe has loved seeing all the little ones grow & explore! She’s also loved seeing all our lovely parents become more confident, relaxed & socialise with like minded parents in a calm, relaxed space🫶🏻 You’re little ones are so lucky you now have the skills to massage at home🫶🏻
Reminder that massage is just as beneficial for the parent to help strengthen the bond between you & baby and to have some adult conversation out of the house🫶🏻
