The Art of Ta**ra
Sunday 10 May
Venue | Compassion Kadampa Meditation Centre, 2 Station Rd, South Gosforth NE3 1QD.
Practical tools for reimagining your life and your future, with visiting Teacher, Gen Lhachog
Buddha’s highest and most profound teachings are called Ta**ra, also known as ‘the quick path to enlightenment.’ But what is Ta**ra? What distinguishes Ta***ic practice from Buddha’s other teachings? And how can we use Ta**ra practice to improve our life as well empower our spiritual training?
In this half-day course, through talks and guided meditations, Gen Lhachog will share the essential points of this immensely joyful, insightful, and creative approach to life, and will introduce methods to help us apply this wisdom to our own life, right here and now.
Through understanding how our mind shapes our experience of ourself and our world, we can learn to use the power of our imagination, combined with wisdom, to fulfill our highest potential.
This course is a wonderful introduction to those interested in exploring Ta**ra by attending the Highest Yoga Ta**ra empowerments offered at this year’s New Kadampa Tradition International Summer Festival in England.
