✨ What We Offer:

£14.10 hourly rate

45p mileage paid

Alternative weekends worked

Flexible working patterns (agreed at interview)

Paid holidays

Full, high-quality paid training

No zero-hour contracts – guaranteed, secure hours

No experience needed – full shadowing, support & guidance

Must drive & have access to a vehicle

Morning, lunch, tea & bed domiciliary calls

Support Available Over the Festive Period 🧡

The Christmas and New Year period can be a difficult time for many people, especially if you’re feeling lonely, isolated, or worried about food or finances. We want our local community to know that help and support are available this winter.

🎄 Wellbeing Hubs Open Over the Holidays
Between 22 December and 2 January, 16 Wellbeing Hubs across Newcastle will remain open, offering warm, welcoming spaces where people can:
☕ Enjoy hot drinks and meals
🤝 Take part in social activities
💬 Talk, connect, and access wider support

You can find out which hubs are open, when, and what they’re offering on the Christmas holiday opening times page on InformationNOW. (see link below)

🍽️ Free & Low-Cost Food Support
Across Newcastle and Gateshead, community organisations will be providing:
• Free or low-cost meals
• Community cafés
• Food pantries, food banks & social supermarkets
• Special meals on Christmas Day & Boxing Day

These services offer not just food, but warm, welcoming places to connect with others.

🎄 Festive Jumper Day at Right at Home Tyneside! 🎄

Today our office was full of Christmas cheer as the team took part in a festive jumper day! From bright knits to classic Christmas designs, it was lovely to see everyone getting into the spirit.

We also enjoyed some tasty picky bits, shared plenty of laughs, and took a moment to celebrate the amazing team we have here at Right at Home Tyneside.

We’re excited to share our latest blog post all about the wonderful community event we took part in last week at Ponteland Memorial Hall. It was an absolute pleasure meeting so many of you and chatting about how we can support the people you love.

To help raise money for the fantastic charity Pathways 4 All, we hosted a raffle for a luxury M&S hamper, and thanks to your generosity, we raised an amazing £80! Every penny has gone directly to supporting local children and families with disabilities.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, donated, and got involved. Your support means so much to us and to the charity.

🎄 Another Lovely Festive Get-Together 🎄

Today marked the second day of hosting our festive client lunch, and once again it was a fantastic afternoon with a great turnout. It was so lovely to see everyone come together, enjoy good food, and spend quality time chatting and laughing.

Our clients had a wonderful time, and it was a pleasure for our care team to relax, sit down, and truly connect with them – moments like these mean so much.

A special shout-out to Peter, the manager, who went above and beyond to make our day extra special. Thank you for your kindness, attention to detail, and for looking after us so well.

Days like these remind us why we do what we do 💙🧡
