If you're prescribed medication for a long-term condition for the first time, you may be eligible for the free New Medicine Service (NMS) scheme.

One of our trained Pharmacists will support you over several weeks to ensure safe and correct usage of the medication and be there to discuss any concerns or issues you may have so that you can get the best out of your medication and take charge of your health.

When you pick up your new prescription at your local Fairmans, ask the pharmacist if you can take part in the new medicine service. Available at all of our branches.

On World Su***de Prevention Day we wanted to remind you that although there is no quick fix for mental health struggles even a simple conversation could save someones life. You can interrupt someone’s suicidal thoughts. You could save a life.

-Start a conversation
-Ask how they’re feeling
-Be there for them in the moment
-Listen without judgement

If you suspect someone is suicidal take action, show them you care and interrupt their thoughts.
