Welcoming back Tals Mum & Baby Pilates
Wednesdays 09.30 - 10.45

Some news for our mums community πŸ™ Our Mum and baby Pilates classes with Tal will be starting again in June πŸͺ·

Our Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor Tal Yishay is coming back from maternity leave and will be waiting for you and your little ones on Wednesdays between 9:30-10:45 πŸ’œπŸ€ΈπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Tal is really excited to be back teaching, now as a mummy of two little ones herself 😊

Her class is a wonderful way to slowly and gently get stronger, more active, reactivate your core and pelvic floor muscles and go back to all the activities you love doing πŸ’ͺ🏼πŸ’ͺ🏼 with the support of an experienced women health physio πŸ™
The class is very personally tailored to each mum as Tal gets to know you while spending quality time with your little ones and getting some baby movement play time and tips as a bonus (:

Plus, there’s nothing like sharing laughs and baby giggles with our supportive community of mums! πŸ’œ

We look forward to welcoming you to a class soon. You can feed, change your baby, let them sleep whatever works for you and your baby.

Each session lasts 60 minutes with some time after for a bit more chatting πŸ™

Suitable from 6 weeks post vaginal delivery or 8 weeks post C-section. No prior experience required 😊 can contact Tal if you've got any questions or just ask while on class πŸ™

Book on now.

πŸ•‰οΈ This simple breath practice uses a slow inhale followed by a long audible exhale to help release physical tension and stress held in the body.

The extended exhale can encourage the body to slow down, soften the shoulders, unclench the jaw, and create a sense of release.

Join me and see how it feels.

πŸ’œ Save this for later whenever you need a moment to reset.

πŸ•‰οΈ Yoga can mean something different for everyone.

For some, it’s strength.
For others, it’s slowing down, reconnecting, or simply finding space to breathe again.

A little insight into one of our teacher’s journeys, and the kind of support she hopes to bring into her classes, Tuesday 5.30 - 6.30pm.

πŸ’œ If this resonates with you, save this post for later or come and join us in Ericas class.

πŸ•‰οΈ What does rest mean for you?

We need constructive rest to function effectively - It's vital for our wellbeing.
Deep rest, like in a savasana (a lying down deep relaxation posture in yoga) helps us to be less future focused and gives us space to be embodied.

πŸ’œ Even taking 30 seconds to pause, close down your eyes and breathe slowly can give us some rest bite.

πŸ’œ Wednesdays at Shanti Bee is Yin Yoga 7-8pm for deep rest and restoration.

πŸ•‰οΈ Pranayama is the yogic practice of conscious breath control.

By slowing down and bringing awareness to the breath, we can create a moment of pause between body and mind. It is a simple practice that can help support wellbeing, calm the nervous system and bring us back to the present moment.

πŸ’œ Save this for the next time you need to slow down.

Living with chronic pain can make movement feel intimidating. Gentle yoga can help soothe the nervous system and reduce pain signals.

It's important to find the right class and the right teacher for you and to remember to breathe and trust your body. You know best.

Share one practice that's supported you today.

6-8pm this Saturday this is what we will be doing at Shanti Bee.
What a treat.

If your body feels tight halfway through the week, try this gentle movement to support the hips.

Comment on how this feels for you - we'd love to hear.
