Coaching involves helping to navigate the person on their own personal journey. 💭This doesn’t involve telling somebody what to do but listening to their aspirations and supporting them on their next steps. This testimonial is from Sarah an amazing shamanic healer who made progress in the creation of her business website during our coaching sessions together. She also developed even more self trust & belief in herself as a by product of the coaching process 👌

New year for me always has a sense of optimism and a time for new positive beginnings.I also see it as a time to let go of things that no longer serve me from the previous year. A big reset and I always have a sense of adventure for what’s next!
I just like many of us have faced challenges over the past 22 months combined with a lot of uncertainty and anxiety during the course of this pandemic. So I thought it would be quite fitting to start the new year with a challenge by dipping in the North Sea with the inspiring on New Years Day. The result was utterly exhilarating & I have decided I will continue with these cold water dips throughout 2022. It made me feel alive and that to me is what life is about high energy, being in your flow in nature, having human connection and having resilience. 2022 I’m ready for you! 🥊🌊❤️

Listening is a skill! 👂 We have been listening to each other our entire lives, but the question is are you listening effectively ⁉️Effective listening is a very important part of being a good coach , but it is of course essential in every aspect of our lives from being an understanding partner ❤️ to an outstanding employee 📝.For me to be a good listener is to be fully present ( put that iphone 📲 down !) and to give people your full undivided attention. By being mindful of this you will also tap into your intuition, 🧠 whereby you can begin read much deeper than just the surface level of what people are saying. Also listen from a place of non-judgment to understand more & say less! 🗣 Good listening is everything! 🙌

We can sometimes hang onto the summer never wanting the sun ☀️ to set staying over active and yang. However over the last few years I have learnt to embrace the Autumn 🍂 seeing it now as a time for letting go and adapting a more yin approach to life. That doesn’t mean that everything stops but more so that we need to slow down, reflect and listen to what we need. 💜 We too are a part of nature and if we listen to its lessons we will feel more balanced and connected to our earth 🌍.

So lovely to get such positive and motivational 🙌 reviews from my business coaching clients. Nicola owns a printing business in Northumberland and I coached her on her digital marketing during one of our many lockdowns 😷 in the UK this year. A positive mindset 🧠 was needed more than ever during this challenging time and she embraced this , which in turn helped her printing business expand into new & different online areas. 💻This was a time where coaching was so important as businesses had to pivot and adapt there business rapidly in order to continue making sales. 💰

I’ve spent the last year coaching people who have experienced homelessness through a local charity. 💛As you can imagine this was as an even more challenging period due to the pandemic 😷 but at the same time very rewarding. I was using a strength 💪🏻 based coaching model supported by the Personal Transitions Service, whereby we focused on peoples strengths, interests and aspirations. This was a person led approach so I actively listened 👂 to what they wanted at that moment and helped them navigate towards their personal goals ✅The thoughtful “ Sorry you’re leaving” cards that I received were from people that I coached during this time. One of them got their own flat 🏡after a very long difficult period in hostels and the other got a full time job in hospitality. To say that I am proud of what these woman achieved and their ongoing self development is an understatement. 🙌❤️
This experience of providing service to the vulnerable was both life affirming and life changing & I now view society in a very different way. I hope in the future to be able to use my voice again to make positive and hopefully radical change. Here are some key things that I learned :
1. People who have experienced homelessness are human beings just like me and you. Treat these people as you would anybody else❤️
2. We all have individual strengths & talents that we can bring to the table if we are given the opportunity to do so. 💪🏻
3. We must learn to listen to people who are going through challenging times and not try to fix people. We need to be person led not service led.👂
4. Do not judge somebody unless you have walked in their shoes. 🥾
5. The systems that surround poor, vunerable and homeless people are fundamentally broken. My frustrations were never with the homeless people that I coached but the services around them. We need a radical change and a different mindset to find permanent solutions for homelessness. ✅
6. Housing 🏡a homeless person where they have there own front door key should be an absolute priority. The majority of hostels are like a revolving door for homeless people and can in fact worsen addictions. 💉
7. Be kind... always! 🤝

As a coach I believe it’s of great importance to speak our truth ✅ It’s important our actions then follow our words. If we don’t we can begin to feel unauthentic, unbalanced ⚖️ and not aligned with our true purpose or nature. 💫 I was recently in a situation where I felt backed into a corner and unheard. As the situation persisted I chose to respond vocally to people who supported me rather than being emotionally reactive. After using the positive power of my voice, I then chose to courageously walk away from the negative situation. As a coach who coaches people on authenticity it was a reminder that I too must be consistently self aware of my own values and beliefs. I believe actions speak just as loud as words! 🙌

Simplify and quieten your mind! 🧠 When my mind feels cluttered I find the best remedy is to surround myself in nature 🌱to go back to basics and have a digital detox 📲 Spending 4 days in the Smoke House cabin in the forest with no electricity, phone restrictions and a cosy wood burner to keep warm really allowed me to get present! Not forgetting the board game ♟ ‘Ludo’ for endless all night entertainment. 💫 Getting present for me strengthens my intuition and clears my mind path so something new and exciting can naturally flow in.

Coaching businesses with a focus on digital marketing during the global pandemic was very well received. ✔️
The importance of businesses having an active online presence 💻became very apparent overnight and also a positive mindset 🧠had to be maintained. Coaching on zoom during this period provided both to the small businesses I worked with. This testimonial is from a Bed & Breakfast owner in Northumberland who focused on their digital marketing with me during the UK’s 🇬🇧winter lockdown.

Hi I’m Clare, I coach people to tap into their full potential, whilst working on removing any self-limiting beliefs and blocks which maybe holding them back. I work with people to make them feel more balanced and therefore aligned with their true nature. Through my coaching they are then able to visualise exactly what they want and how to effectively get there. My role is to serve you as a coach and help turn your dreams into reality, but I would like to hopefully inspire you by sharing how I made my own life transformation too.
My background is in the music industry, including owning a successful PR and artist management company in London. I was also a mentor for ‘Sound Woman’, helping professional woman overcome challenges in their music industry careers. I began to realise that my passion was not only in music, but even more so in helping people to grow, find purpose and feel more balanced in all aspects of their life.
As my passion for the music industry dwindled, along with feeling the negative effects of the unhealthy lifestyle that went with it, I quit my business and went to live in Rishikesh, India. It was here at the foothills of the Himalayas where the Ganges runs through it, that I knew I wanted a career change and a more holistic approach to life. During my time here I completed my 200 hours yoga teacher training, my reiki 1 & 2 and learnt the art of sound healing. I was ready for a new chapter, had gained new skills and more importantly felt like I had reconnected with myself again.
On my return to London and reborn from the music industry I set up my wellness practice Sacred State. I also began part-time freelance marketing for successful start-up creative entrepreneurs, whilst expressing a natural interest in their own personal development, goals, challenges and overall work - life balance. It was this interest and my previous experience in the music industry, especially as a mentor, that organically lead me to coaching.
Today I am a trained qualified life & business coach, with an Advanced Certificate in Coaching Practice, awarded by the Mindful Talent Coaching Academy which is accredited by the Association for Coaching. My holistic energy work which combines acupressure yin yoga, meditation, soundhealing and reiki has given me the great privilege of working for The Amy Winehouse Foundation at Amy’s Place, a residential recovery centre for 18-30 woman who are overcoming alcohol and drug addiction. I feel I have turned some of my dreams into reality and by sharing this I hope I have inspired you to let me help you to do the same!
