Imagine being 80 years old, you have had 3 weeks off from any exercise because of Christmas antics- your PT comes and you still move with grace, strength & control doing your pilates โ then you lift weights like you had never stopped! Well yes, that was my clients this week. They have trained with me for longer than 10years. They tell me I have โsaved their livesโ they tell me that if they hadnโt started pilates and weight training a few times a week 35 weeks of the year, they wouldnโt be as mobile and living life as full as they are.
This is testament to why I chose to train the way I have! Maintaining muscle mass is one of the most important factors in healthy aging.
