✨ I often throw myself into work and being busy to distract from the trauma I carry.
*This is the first week in a long time I haven’t taken longer than 10 mins to work whilst away. I actually started reading a book in my spare time. I connected with my thoughts and presence a little more ✨
On the mat we lengthen, strengthen, and breathe. Off the mat, the same care is important but hard to do in modern day life. Taking time to pause, enjoy the moment, and truly rest isn’t “doing nothing” — it’s giving your body, mind, and spirit space to restore and connect.
Longevity isn’t just about how hard we train, but how well we balance effort with ease. Holidays, slow mornings, sunshine, and stillness… they’re all medicine for the soul. ☀️💛
