Royal Hampton is a luxury care home specialising in the provision of high quality residential, nursing and dementia care.

Live in luxury at Royal Hampton, Ponteland - a 73 bed luxurious care centre which has been specifically designed to a very high standard. All residents enjoy a varied lifestyle and will have a package that would suit everyone. Royal Hampton specialises in all categories of care including, residential, nursing, dementia, permanent, short stays and respite. The facilities include a Dickens Bistro & Bar and a Shakespearean restaurant providing a fine dining experience to residents and including evening drinks reception. Facilities include beautifully furnished suites with private lounges and kitchens and single rooms with en-suites, some with access into enticing gardens, to help residents maintain independence. The Royal Hampton is close to the town centre with strong links to a number of local groups to ensure residents will be very much a part of the community.

Our residents created a beautiful poppy display for our entrance, shared precious, emotional stories of war and came together in song to remember those who fought for us and those who still do today. 🇬🇧

The witches & wizards of Royal Hampton came together to swap spells and compare cauldrons at the annual Feast of Frights.
The food was ‘boo’tiful and the decorations were ‘spook’tacular, thanks to everyone who helped create such a magical atmosphere. 🧙✨🎃✨👻

Little Seeds Playgroup and PreSchool invited us to have some Halloween fun in their wonderful play space and we accepted without hesitation. It was such an uplifting morning, the children were a delight and reminded us how important it is to play. 🎃🎨🎃

What a wonderful, uplifting day we had raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support.
Our coffee morning was full to the seams with family and friends, everyone shared a cuppa and tucked into a mouth watering selection of treats.
Our afternoon was an explosion of positivity and joy as we were entertained by the fantastic Joe Wallace, Joe has quickly become part of the Royal Hampton family and we are so grateful for the energy he brings to our home.

Our Summer Holiday display has been a real hit this year, with everyone sharing their memories of donkeys, camping, flights and food. We were reminded that holidays are not all about the destination but who we make those precious memories with. 💜

We have lots of lovely four legged visitors at Royal Hampton but Roxy from Wag and Company is definitely a favourite amongst residents and staff. Her lovely owner Derek takes Roxy to visit across all three floors and brings happiness & comfort to so many. 🐾

Our Summer Fair took us on a trip down memory lane to our childhood and family seaside trips. We laughed and booed at the antics of Punch & Judy, tried our luck on the fairground games and enjoyed an ice cream in the sunshine.
Thank you to everyone who supported us, we feel so lucky to have such wonderful families, friends, staff & volunteers at Royal Hampton.

Looking forward to welcoming everyone to our Summer Fair tomorrow afternoon.
Enjoy a traditional Punch & Judy show, try your luck on hook a duck, browse the fantastic stalls and relax in our garden with a tasty home baked treat.
Our fundraising raffle is full of amazing prizes, thank you to everyone who has supported us so far including local businesses Fratelli, The Blackbird Ponteland, The Badger Ponteland

What a lovely welcome we were given at our new local ice cream parlour . The home made ice cream & ginormous cake slices were delicious and one of the owners took the time to speak to us personally and tell us all about her exciting new venture.🍨☕️🍰

Yesterday the wonderful John Fletcher took us back to the halcyon days of swing, with the smooth songs of The Rat Pack.
John’s voice blew us away but it was his compassionate approach to all our residents that made him a star in our eyes ⭐️

Childhood memories came flooding back yesterday with a trip to Kirkley Zoo. The sun was shining, the animals were extremely entertaining and the company was perfect.
