The facilities include a Dickens Bistro & Bar and a Shakespearean restaurant providing a fine dining experience to residents and including evening drinks reception. What a beautiful way to celebrate Valentines Day!

Our loved ones joined us for a mouthwatering array of home baking and we were enchanted by a clàrsach recital from the Lord Mayor of Newcastles very own harpist Jan Bennett.

Our Burns Supper was one Rabbie Burns himself would have loved!
Our kitchen team provided the flavours, with everyone tucking in to Haggis, neeps & tatties, whiskey chicken and an indulgent cranachan. Roddy Matthews & James Tait created the mood, performing poetry & music with traditional Scottish enthusiasm and flair.
The only job left for us was to dance, sing and enjoy! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

✨ Happy 100th Birthday Joan ✨

We pulled out all the stops to celebrate Joan’s special birthday, such a kind, warm hearted lady deserved the best.
We danced with the wonderful Jeanie & The Jolly Boys, welcomed Ponteland Mayor Alan Hall to our home and lifted the roof as we sang and cheered as Joan blew out her candles.
A big thank you to Little Seeds Playgroup and PreSchool, Emily Wilding Davison School, Ponteland High School and the wonderful people of the North East for helping us achieve our goal of 100 cards for Joan.
A special mention to Kirsty at Bento Bakes for so kindly donating a magnificent cake for Joan’s celebration.

Evening everyone, I’ve got a wee favour to ask you all. 🤞🏻
Preparations are under way for the biggest event of our social calender in 2026, our wonderful, glamorous resident Joan is celebrating her 100th birthday!
We are throwing her a big birthday bash with a rock n roll band on the 12th January but need your help to add a little extra wow factor to her day.
We would love to surprise her with 100 cards, one for every year! If you would like to be part of this fantastic birthday surprise then please drop a card in to reception or post it to us c/o Fran.
Thanks in advance and remember it’s a secret!

Two very special visitors, one dressed in fur and the other in sequins!
