Discovery zoo visited us today, and we enjoyed meeting all the animals again, we always enjoy meeting different animals 🐍🕷️🐢
Yesterday some ladies enjoyed a workshop from Sharon’s flower blooms and made beautiful flower arrangements 💐🌺🌸

We had a lovely time at the first of a weekly coffee morning this morning, and we have made notes on what we want improving on for next week and weeks ahead 😊 this afternoon we've played Scrabble, and some ladies have been weaving with fabrics 😊

We've had a jolly old time with Dave Brewis! Lots of singing and dancing, and we've all really enjoyed it 😊 thank you for coming to perform for us 🎸🎶

This morning we attended Memory Cafe at St James Park, and were super lucky to meet Shola Ameobi. We enjoyed listening to his stories about the games he played and what he got up to on and off the pitch, and were thrilled to be able to see the Carabao Cup up close too!

Sophie’s Parties & Entertainment joined us again today which we enjoyed, singing, dancing, and clapping away the morning blues. This afternoon it was eyes down for bingo! ✍🏼 Bingo is one of our favourites, and is such a good way to encourage residents to get together with a common interest 😊

Today we started off with a lovely sensory session, followed by an oral hygiene workshop run by team leader Hannah (our oral hygiene champion), and this afternoon Flossie came in to see everyone as it's national dog day today! ❤️🐾

Our new pool table is a big hit! A lovely way to spend a bank holiday Monday afternoon. Next time we'll have to get a few drinks on the go too 🍺 Margaret has been dancing this afternoon too, and Craig has been showing off his magic tricks 🪄

Our Summer fayre day is here! We're crossing our fingers for the weather to stay nice. Our raffle tickets are on sale and ready to buy at £1 per strip, and the entertainment is good to go. If you're coming along today, don't forget to bring plenty change, and we'll see you at 2pm! 🎉

For world photo day we decided to update our headshots, and then got a bit silly with masks and dressing up!
Bethan has also counted the sweets in the jar, ready for Saturday's Summer Fayre - what's your best guess? If you want to enter officially, before Saturday, it's £1 a guess and the closest guess gets the whole jar!
