A simple urine test can check how well your kidneys are working. If you have diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease, you may be at higher risk of kidney problems.

If your doctor or nurse has asked you for a urine sample, please remember to bring it to your next appointment.

It could help spot kidney disease early.

Why it matters:
✔ People with long-term conditions are more likely to develop kidney disease
✔ Early detection helps us manage problems before they get worse
✔ It’s part of looking after your overall health

We are excited to launch a new digital triage system called SystmConnect, on Mon 9th Sept that will mean you no longer need to queue on the phone at 8:15am.

You will be asked to complete a short form for either a medical or admin request:
-The medical form will enable you to request an appointment for; new, and existing conditions.
-The admin form will give you the ability to request a letter, sick note, follow-up test results, or ask for non-medical advice/information.

You can submit medical requests between 7am and 8pm Mon to Fri, and admin requests 24 hours a day.
