Exciting Opportunity at Roseanna Grace Physiotherapy 💫 Jess, Saoirse & I are busy working away in full time in clinics and are overwhelmed with the demand at the moment! Coinciding with the clinic turning 6, it is only right that we meet this growing demand with a new specialist physiotherapist. We are so proud to be offering another FULL TIME CONTRACTED POSITION. 💫

We get asked this a lot! And it’s also quite common for men and women to say they initially felt quite nervous about their consultation and leave feeling so much more confident following their appointment 💯 💫 So hopefully this helps!
A consultation at Roseanna Grace Includes the following:
A 1-2-1 consultation lasting up to 75 minutes in duration ✔️

History gathering of your symptom (s) including previous treatments ✔️
• Vaginal examination (optional) - and don’t worry, we will thoroughly discuss the relevance of this during our consultation and you can decide then what you’re comfortable doing ✔️.
• Discussion / Summary of findings and diagnosis ✔️
• Appropriate treatments (personalised and individualised
exercise prescription,manual therapy, massage, acupuncture, pelvic floor neuromuscular stimulation) ✔️ .
Agreeing a treatment plan, including covering all relevant information and advice ✔️.
Issuing of exercise plan ✔️.
Answering any questions or concerns you may be having ✔️.
Any follow up appointments which are needed will be up to 30 minutes in duration. We love nothing more than being able to progress you towards your goals / symptom improvement and will always work our hardest to find the best way to get you there 💪🏻.

We are 6 years old today! The clinic first opened its doors on the 2rd March 2019 ! Can’t quite believe it has been six years since then, a pandemic, massive inflation, rent increases but also expansion over two sites, two more full-time physiotherapists (hey Jess, hey Saoirse!) and a full time admin apprentice (hey Jules!).
We work so hard to ensure that we are providing the best pelvic health care in the North East and with the madness of how busy we have been, I totally forgot to celebrate that we were nominated and won the BEST UK PELVIC HEALTH PHYSIOTHERAPY PRACTICE AWARD FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW 2023 & 2024! 🎉 🍾 🙌🏻 These awards are nominated and short listed by mostly Google reviews so it is a huge thank you to all our lovely patients who share your feedback and recommend us to your friends and family. We really really appreciate it. Pelvic health remains taboo (although it is getting so much better!) so talking about your pelvic health and sharing your experiences really helps others feel not alone and seek much needed help 💯 so thank you again for this!
As a thank you we have lots of at reception for you to help yourselves too for the month of March. Please do help yourselves and know that we appreciate you all so much 🙌🏻🙌🏻 .
This year we up-skilled in Scar Therapy and also Specialist Physio-Led Pilates for Women’s Health Needs and have really enjoyed offering these classes to the ladies of the North East. Lots of exciting things coming for later this year which we will share on here soon.

Did you know that we have been offering the following ? .
Pessary fitting since 2021 for prolapse and incontinence.
Electroacupuncture / Posterior Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS) since 2019 for bladder urgency (including over active bladder), chronic pelvic pain (CPPS/CPP), bladder pain syndrome/repeat UTI, endometriosis & bowel urgency/incontinence.
Any unwanted symptoms related to your Pudendal nerve can usually benefit from de amplification / PTNS 💪🏻

We are still looking for the right Customer Service / Business Admin Apprentice to join our team now that Jodie is coming to the end of her studies!
Pay £7.60-£11.00 per hour depending on experience of the candidate! Please share and tag if you know of anyone!

Ideal environment to work on time management, multi tasking & organisation skills to ensure the appointment diary runs smoothly! As well as people skills (meeting and greeting clients of different clinics all at the same time) and having a lot of responsibility such as opening and closing, keeping reception clean and tidy and supplying the much needed tea and coffee to the clinicians! We would be lost without our admin support and already can’t wait to meet you!

I’ve had one too many inboxes recently from ladies feeling concerned about this advice that ‘pelvic floor exercises are ineffective’.
Please be assured you’re right to have doubts. This advice is completely uninformed and uneducated. Please do optimise and fully rehab your pelvic floor.
Once these foundations are in place, global strength and function can be addressed but without these foundations, dysfunction absolutely happens and symptoms will arise or worsen (if not now, then down the line).
Specialist & knowledgable healthcare professionals with specialise pelvic health training and experience, will never tell you to abandon pelvic floor exercises and will always advocate you to ensure these are personalised and individualised to you via a physiotherapists as per best clinical practice & NICE Guidance 💯
