With a background in beauty as a former hairdresser and beautician, Toni brings a unique perspective to her role at LASE Cosmetic. But it didn’t take long for her natural talents in organisation, coordination, and calm leadership to shine through. She quickly evolved into an assistant manager role and now works as PA to the Managing Director - making sure everything behind the scenes at LASE Cosmetic runs seamlessly.

From diaries to day-to-day clinic flow, Toni is often the glue holding it all together - and we’d be lost without her.

When she’s not juggling clinic logistics, Toni is a proud mum who loves nothing more than escaping to the outdoors. Whether she’s camping, hiking, or wild swimming, she’s all about fresh air and freedom when the clinic doors close.

If you know LASE Cosmetic, you know BriVonne. Not Brian. Not Yvonne. Just BriVonne - our legendary theatre duo and the heartbeat of our surgical team.

With over 30 years of healthcare experience each, Brian and Yvonne Malone first met two decades ago in a plastic surgery theatre. Since then, they’ve been inseparable, in work and in life, building a reputation for their unmatched clinical skill, calm leadership, and unwavering kindness.

Mr Ali-Khan first worked with BriVonne over a decade ago in Durham, and when it came time to build the surgical arm of LASE Cosmetic, he knew exactly who to call. (And yes - we’re pretty sure he actually kidnapped them from the NHS.)

As founding members of the theatre team, BriVonne helped shape the LASE Cosmetic surgical service into the safe, consultant-led environment it is today. They are known not only for their professionalism and precision, but for the compassion they show every patient and colleague who walks through our doors.

In 2023, Brian retired, but their legacy is stitched into the fabric of our clinic. Quite literally: our theatre suite is named in their honour.

LASE Cosmetic has been some years in the making. Lisa Ali-Khan (Aesthetic Nurse) and Ahmed Ali-Khan (Plastic Surgeon) are a family team that have been based in the NorthEast since 2011. Our ethos is safe and expert care in the field of aesthetics, both surgical and non-surgical. Wanting to develop our safety first ethos we practiced from the Spire Washington Hospital from 2012 (admission of which requires the scrutiny and approval of a Consultant Medical committee) to develop our reputation and practice. We believe our non-surgical expert (Lisa Ali-Khan) is the only nurse in the North-East (and one of the few in the UK) to have passed such scrutiny of her training and standards.

Having developed a reputation for high quality care and standards over the past few years we decided to further personalise our services into an aesthetic clinic based in the heart of Newcastle. LASE Cosmetic is the culmination of that dream. We chose the Jesmond, a beautiful building, situated opposite West Jesmond Metro as the perfect location for our luxury, bespoke clinic. As the only plastic surgery facility in the NorthEast that offers full-time expertise in non-surgical and surgical aesthetic treatments we offer honest, ethical advice with no limitations. Our advice is always based on what we consider the best option for our individual patients and not constrained to whether they booked in to see one of our surgical or non-surgical experts.

Part of our dream was to introduce the best aesthetic technology for the patients of the North East. In that respect we have brought CoolSculpting (permanent, non-surgical fat reduction) and Renuvion (skin tightening) to the region.
