Short answer: no.

You don’t need to be strong, confident, or have gym experience.
That’s literally our job.

Most people who join us are starting from scratch — nervous, out of routine, and worried they’ll “hold others back”. You won’t.

We coach small groups, adapt everything to you, and support you every step of the way. No shouting. No judgement. No comparisons.

You don’t join Primal because you’re fit.

This week’s spotlight goes to someone who could light up the gym even if the power went out. The loudest laugh, the bubbliest energy, and the kindest of hearts… it’s Dawn Charlton!

Dawn joined us back in May 2023, and from day one she’s been one of the funniest, most vibrant people to walk through the Primal doors. If Dawn is in your session, you’re guaranteed two things: hard work and absolute chaos-level laughter. She’s made a huge circle of friends here, the kind who don’t just train together but actually hang out outside the gym too. That says everything about the energy she brings.

But this year? Something clicked. Dawn has been laser focused on her goals and has levelled up her training in a massive way. She’s been the most consistent she’s ever been, pushing harder in every session, and showing everyone exactly what can happen when you mix effort with a bit of Dawn-style sparkle.

Since April, she’s dropped over 15kg, an incredible achievement and a testament to how dedicated she’s become. Every week she’s turning up, putting the work in, and proving that big personality and big progress can go hand in hand.

Dawn, you’re an absolute joy to coach, a magnet for good vibes, and a brilliant example of what commitment can look like. Keep that fire burning, and keep the rest of us laughing while you’re at it.
