St Martins Care is proud to support the next cohort of North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust apprenticeship paramedics on placement across our six care homes!

This initiative has ensured every trainee paramedic within the NEAS apprenticeship programme spends meaningful time in a social care setting, gaining valuable experience and building a deeper understanding of our sector.

Remembrance Day

Today, we paused to remember and honour all those who have served and sacrificed in the Armed Forces — past and present.

We take this moment to reflect on their courage, their dedication, and the freedoms they helped secure.

At 11am we joined the nation in observing a two-minute silence to remember them. 🍁

Remembrance Day is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

We unite across faiths, cultures and backgrounds to remember the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.

Honouring Remembrance Sunday at Park View Care Home.

As the month of November unfolds, we are reminded of the importance of remembering and commemorating those who have bravely served our country.

Good Luck Augustine!

The team surprised Augustine with gifts following his last shift at Park View Care Home.

Augustine worked as a Kitchen Assistant at Park View since 2023, he has always been a valued member of the team but he is relocating to Australia to be with his family. 🇦🇺

The staff and the residents will miss you Augustine. We wish you lots of luck and happiness in Australia! 🇦🇺 🍁

It's Time for a Puppet Show

Staff and residents at Park View enjoyed a Halloween show presented by the Muppet Show.

The creators put on a fabulous show which is highly interactive, full of music, laughter, dance and memories. 🎶

We always finish with a meet and greet with the puppets. 🍁

Laura joined St Martins Care in 2019 with no previous experience in care, but with dedication, passion, and the support of her team, she’s achieved two promotions and a new qualification!

Today, as Quality Lead, Laura plays a key role in supporting staff and helping us deliver the very best care for our residents.

Her journey shows that with the right mindset and support, a career in care can be truly rewarding.
