What do parents need to know about measles?

Measles spreads easily and can make children very poorly.

Look out for: High fever Cough and runny nose Sore eyes A blotchy rash (usually starts on the face and behind the ears)

If you think your child has measles, keep them at home and call your GP or NHS 111.

The MMR vaccine is the best way to protect them – check they’re up to date.

Our 'go decaf' project has shown how switching to decaffeinated drinks could help reduce the number of falls on hospital wards.

Data showed that more than a quarter of falls were due to patients getting up for the toilet, particularly during the night. Making the switch to decaf has reduced this number.
