It was inspiring to see 3t Drilling Systems’ advanced drilling simulation technology helping shape the next generation of Saudi Arabian oil & gas engineers at the Well Control Challenge 2025.

Hosted by CIPR at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals - KFUPM, in partnership with the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) and SPE KFUPM Student Chapter, the event gave students hands-on experience using our DrillSIM:600 and DrillSIM:Educator bringing real-world drilling challenges into a safe, controlled environment.

We were proud to continue building on our strong relationship with the Saudi Arabian Drilling Academy (SADA) during a recent leadership meeting at their world-class training centre.

Hosted by SADA Managing Director Faisal Al-Daihani, the meeting brought together our new Group CEO Frode Scott Nilsen, Group COO Patty Eid, MENA Managing Director Hani Sagr, and Askar Alyami, Vice President for Saudi Arabia.

Together, we explored innovative ways to enhance training through 3t’s advanced simulators and integrated training systems, reinforcing our shared vision to deliver world-class learning experiences and support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.

This partnership reflects our shared commitment to investing in people and technology, helping to build a highly skilled workforce for the future of the energy sector.
