Be honest —
do you look after your dog’s health better than your own?

You never let your dog miss their exercise,
no matter the weather.

But you skip yours.

Start giving your own health the same care you give your dog.

If weight loss is your goal, your diet matters more than anything else.

Yes exercise can help. But diet has the far greater impact.

First time pressing the 40s since I dislocated my shoulder 18 months ago getting slammed head first at Jiu Jitsu. Annoying the injury as you shouldn’t be getting slammed head first but actually felt lucky after as it could have been a lot worse had I not managed to turn my head out the way.

Doctor said I would be back to normal in 8 weeks but 18 months later and it’s still not back to full strength. And not from lack of trying.

Looking back he said I’ve probably damaged some muscle or ligaments as well but it will heel. I should have asked for a scan to see just how bad my injury was as something definitely still isn’t right 18 months on.

Turning over in bed and getting up off the floor it still feels like it could easily snap. I can’t throw a right hook when boxing without pain and feeling like my arm will snap.

But happy to finally be back up to heavy weights on the bench press.

Been a very long process but taking 18 months to get back to the 40s is better than giving up and never being able to do it again.

Would love to one day get back to jiu jitsu as was enjoying it the couple of months I went. But until I can turn over in bed and get up off the floor without feeling like my arm is going to snap there is no way I can do that with someone on top of me at Jiu Jitsu.

That definitely seems like a long way off, if ever but for now I’m happy to be back bench pressing decent weights.

There is hope again of pressing the 50s which I bought just before dislocating my shoulder and never got to use. Let’s see if I can do that before turning 40 next year.

Eat real food. Train 3x a week. That’s it.

Most of your results come from doing these two simple things.

First Monday. New year. Fresh start. Perfectly planned.

And somehow… you missed the perfect start date.

You didn’t fail.
You’re human.

Here it is. The first Monday of 2026.

It’s time to take action.

Level up in 2026.

These are higher standards for health, performance, and fat loss in 2026.

Hit them when you can. Fall back on the minimums when you can’t.

Save this as your blueprint if you’re serious about a successful 2026.

01/01/2026

The non-negotiables for a better 2026.

Save this for 2026 and make sure you hit these minimums.

First workouts back after time off are tough.

But do you know what’s even harder?

23/12/2025

The pressure is exhausting.
And it gets worse at Christmas.

Watch this before you pressure someone this Christmas.

They say it like it’s harmless.
For me, it never is.

Does it affect you too?
