31 lbs down in 12 weeks following SHREDin12 💪💪💪💪

For me it never really felt like dieting, never really hungry, energy levels were good and very few cravings.

I enjoy eating this way, feel loads better and will continue.

Just need to stay away from protein bars, yogurt and Diet Coke etc. As soon as I have anything like that my cravings go crazy and makes it so much harder. Yes they may fit into calories and macros etc but for me one protein bar turns into 3 or 4, one Diet Coke turns into 2 or 3 and a few spoonful’s of yogurt turns into the whole tub.

I don’t want to have to use willpower to eat only a little bit of those kinds of foods, best I just avoid them as I feel better, have better energy, feel less hungry and have less cravings when I avoid them anyway.

So no adding those back in like I usually do once I finish a diet.

Discovering mash bowls during SHREDin12 will make avoiding those foods loads easier. No need for a protein bar or two or fruit and yogurt when I can just make a mash bowl which I find is better for my hunger, energy and cravings.

Very happy with the results considering I couldn’t really train properly the last few weeks after injuring ligaments in both my knee and thumb playing football.

I had planned to hammer the weights and cardio the last few weeks but instead it was light weights for high reps only.

Still made good progress in the last few weeks but could have been even better without the injuries.

Even if things don’t go fully to plan you keep going. You keep doing your best. You control what you can control.

There will always be challenges and obstacles when you follow a programme for 12 weeks. You just have to do the best you can to overcome them.

Really enjoyed SHREDin12 and it was a good way to kick start my Fit For Forty goals.

As soon as my thumb and knee allows I’ll be focusing on getting fitter and stronger to achieve as many of my goals as possible come January.

What do you think?

If you can notice an improvement yet I’ve gained weight it shows weight isn’t everything. You can still look slimmer yet be heavier.

Haven’t had the best few weeks.

Had an unplanned Easter egg at Easter.

Kids being off limited my training.

Last Monday I injured my ligaments in both my knee and thumb so haven’t been able to do any leg exercises and only been able to use light weights for upper body.

But still kept going and still making progress.

Time to work hard this last week now the kids are back at school and just going to have to do cardio regardless of my knee and lift heavy regardless of my thumb.

Training hasn’t been great either with the kids being off school.

Only two weeks to go, training won’t be the best again with the kids being off so will have to hammer the gym the last week.

Two meals per day was working great, until these arrived in the house.

Upped my meals to three per day and upped the fruit I’ve ate to help make sure I don’t give into chocolate.

Once it’s out of site in the garage or the kids rooms it will be out of mind and dieting will be easier again and will probably go back to two meals per day.

But whilst the temptation is there, treating myself to more food, in particular more fruit helps. I really enjoy fruit so extra fruit is a treat and helps take my mind off the chocolate.

An early weigh in this week.

Not so I can eat chocolate for Easter, but because I won’t be at the gym on Monday to get weighed.

Down 1.85kg this week which now takes me to 11.05kg which is just over 24lbs in 9 weeks.

3 weeks to go. Minimum I would like is another 2kg off.

A big reason for people not seeing the results they really want is not giving it enough time.

Often people lose weight, see good results but stop before they get to their ideal weight and body shape.

It’s not that the plan doesn’t work, it’s not that they aren’t progressing, it’s not that they aren’t working hard enough as often they are doing everything right. It’s just they don’t stay consistent long enough.

Motivation at the start is often highest. Overtime even when seeing results motivation tends to drop. After dieting for a month, 6 weeks, 8 weeks it’s easy just to stop.

But the results you really want might just be a few more weeks of dieting away.

I’ve always seen great results with TRANSFORMin8 but I want even better so created SHREDin12. An extra 4 weeks of dieting could be the difference between good results and finally achieving your dream body.

And if you still want more, the only way to do that is to diet even longer. Giving up won’t get you what you want. You have to keep going, keep going for longer until you see the results you want.

8 week progress pics.

Excited to see the change in another 4 weeks.

This would be the final result of TRANSFORMin8 but this time I’m going for even better with SHREDin12.

Another 3kg loss or more in the next 4 weeks and I’ll be happy. Getting under 84kg is the target. Time to focus for 4 weeks.
