We start our memory walk from 10 am 💠 from Long Benton west farm care home Craig Healthcare to Cramlington. To raise awareness and 💰 for the care home itself
The care home provides tailored care and social, community resources and activities to promote wellbeing and encourage residents to engage, enjoy and feel part of a hone that prioritises top quality care. Proud to support this charity.
In June I lost my dear grandmother of dementia and we had a 4 to 5 years of round clock care and my mum Carmen Kelly was an angel ensuring we met all her needs.
If you feel you can contribute please dm me and I'll provide details.
Any £ will go directly to the home which i work in

We've been taking a leaf out of the residents book - which was can we play some sports. And we listened and booked sporting activties in time for Olympics and Euros...

👋 hello there sorry for the delay to updating you on our activties at West Farm.
We have some of our lovely managers on 🌞 and I'm taking care of socials for this page.
During May and June all of these activties have stimulated and Brough social connection and communication through brain training amd cognitive stimulation.
*happiness games brought to us by the happiness project.
*meditation and visualisation techniques.
*yoga
*Spa & revive by Hannah
*Exercise and sports with
G-Fitness Newcastle and entertainment brought to us by Darren@rock this town and music.

We've been having a lovely cultured week to celebrate heritage week 🏰 and 🎨

We've been singing songs of old and reminiscing over seaside stories.
Oh I do like to be beside the sea side ...

We have written a creative poem 'Geordie Sea side sandwiches'- being typed ready for residents to read..

Today we've been testing our brains 🧠 with Trivial pursuit and working fabulously ! team spirit 💪 🎲
And yesterday we had dancing in the aisles with Alfie...🎶 we've had a busy week!...
Next we have trips booked and lots of physical games and music.
The day in the life of activities coordinator has been amazing 👏.
