15 years ago when starting at HMP Frankland I started working with some officers and therapists who in different ways worked hard to give people the chance to change. The idea of being a CBT therapist grew from there and since then I have completed an undergraduate degree, 2 post graduate diplomas, started again as a support worker in a great team at the plot in Sunderland Royal Hospital, became a pwp then a CBT therapist.
As well as my day job which I find incredibly rewarding I have recently started a small private practice to continue doing what matters to me whilst I manage a service in the charitable sector.
This isn't easy to post as despite being stubborn and focused I don't always naturally put myself forward however trying to do things under the radar as I have been is like taking half measures. I am hoping that my friends will help the people who might need it to become more aware of my practice by liking and following my fb page, linked in page, website and blog.
