November is Men’s Health Month — and at Nuffield Health Newcastle, we’re putting the spotlight on wellbeing.

Recently, one of our brilliant porters Paul, took part in a full Health Screening Assessment. Paul’s screening is a reminder that looking after your health is vital.

Paul said “ I was initially a bit worried about going for my health screening as I rarely visit the GP and I have some family history of certain conditions.
Sophie and Dr Harris were so nice and professional, I was kept in the loop all the way through. They explained what they were doing and why and helped me feel so relaxed.
I liked the recommendations of what I can do to make small improvements in my lifestyle which I have already put into place.
I would highly recommend a health screening as it puts your mind at ease and I learned a lot from it.”

We’re investing in the future of our hospital by upgrading our theatres to provide the very best care for our patients.

The improvement project runs from November 2025 to July 2026.
While work is in progress, front-of-hospital parking will be very limited, except for Blue Badge spaces. To help make your visit easier, please:
✅ Use nearby on-street parking
✅ Arrange drop-off and collection at the main entrance

As part of our sponsorship with The City of Newcastle Golf Club, today we offered free blood pressure readings and an info stall with goody bags for all players and customers in the club house.
