What a busy day we had at Nuffield Newcastle yesterday We had the lovely Lesley come to visit us with the Semmelweiss hand machine which analyzes hand hygiene technique. Who knew our staff would be so competitive trying to get the highest score!

We had a display in our reception area for hand hygiene, Sepsis awareness and Antibacterial resistance. Of course in true Newcastle style we had cakes and cookies too!

Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending Karbon Homes staff wellbeing event at their Gosforth office.

A really great day with staff totally engaged in ways to improve their health and wellbeing. We teamed up with our colleagues from our gym and offered mini health checks, blood pressure readings and a stall with all of our resources and teaching aids.

A brilliant day!

Fantastic Friday!
What a morning we had at Greggs for their breast cancer awareness day. A very lively lot. We joined them today as they raised awareness for breast cancer with a fabulous staff bake sale. We talked all things b***s!

Armed with lots of information we ran a competition where we learned just how competitive everyone was! Our breast teaching aid was put to good use with lots of talk about the importance of self examination and taking a proactive approach to health and wellbeing.

Thanks for having us Greggs - We will be back!
