Cancer ♋️ season. When I think of Cancer season (which signifies the home and the archetypal mother) I think of an old Italian granny. She is the heart of the home who nurtures and cares for everyone, ‘Are you hungry?’ ‘Have you eaten enough?’ she says. Our ancestors and our connection to our roots epitomise Cancer’s vibes; we feel the foundation of our home and family.

Last weekend we celebrated the baptism of our beautiful baby daughter with our family and close friends there. The church is the house of God and the foundation upon which we want our daughter to grow in love and strength. The christening gown Luna wore is over 80 years old and has been passed down through our family- with the first member of our family to wear it there witnessing Luna wear it ❤️. When you have family gathering from Canada, Scotland and Portugal to be with you you know you have a special family. And they say friends are the family we choose for ourselves so go fill yourself up on your chosen family. Feel nostalgic and take a walk down memory lane; daydream about those summer days when you were a kid and be proud of where you’ve come from 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

I’m feeling so emotional that my baby is 6 months old …time is fleeting 😔. A huge reminder during Ta**us ♉️ season to slow down and be mindful of what is happening 🌷 ❤️. I love you to the moon and back minha pequena ❤️

‘Happy days’. Today is International Day of Happiness and also the vernal equinox. This time last year I found out I was pregnant and wow what a day to find out my life was never going to be the same again. The vernal equinox, or Ostara, which heralds a new astrological year with Aries ♈️ season is all about new beginnings… new life is springing up 🌼 and it is the germination of the seeds 🌱 planted at Yule and Imbolc. With new life comes new hope. Looking at my 4 month old baby girl reminiscing about that test I look on this day last year- life is a wild ride for sure!!! 🔥❤️

Lammas: honoured on 1st August, a celebration of the first harvest and the onset of autumn. Here we give thanks and praise for the richness that the earth provides and asks us to reflect on the past 6 months since Imbolc and those first signs of spring. So much has happened to us all- what seeds have borne fruit? Which haven’t come to pass? The first photo was taken on my birthday (which for me is a good mark of remembrance for Imbolc) in Fuseta, Portugal when we were almost at the Leo ♌️ full moon and the second picture is me now as a mumma to be. We’ve all been manifesting consciously or unconsciously. The full moon in Aquarius happening on Lammas will have highlighted things that may not have come to fruition and need a little longer to mature or need releasing fully. Our baby girl isn’t quite cooked yet but when she’s ready she’ll be here. Let mother nature run her course, use the wheel of the year to check in on where you are and what needs adjusting 🙏🏻

Happy summer solstice/Litha/international yoga day ☀️

Litha celebrates the longest day of the year where the goddess is pregnant from her consummation with the God at Beltane. She is flourishing and her perspective shifts to the mother aspect; she takes on the archetype of Mother Earth. As we enter Cancer ♋️ season this is exactly what we are doing; celebrating the mother in all aspects and forms. Nurturing and caring are our focus on the home, the earth we call home and our loved ones whom we call family.

Today celebrate abundance as the crops have reached their full maturity and celebrate the growth of seeds that were planted in the spring. We planted our little one in spring and now you’re flourishing little one 👶🏼

Imbolc blessings. The 1st of February is a significant turning point in the wheel of the year. It lies halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox and is ‘pregnant’ with potential. We see the ewes pregnant at this time as we spring forwards towards the ever growing light of spring. This day is also known as St Brigid’s day who is the goddess residing over the lighter half of the year.
For many years I had a bad relationship with this date as I never wanted a winter birthday but learning about the rhythms of nature it has literally turned my world upside down and I am privileged to celebrate my day of birth with the beginning of spring. I am also so blessed to witness spring like weather in the stunning Algarve.
May this day be filled with many blessings for you and may this season unfold with many a good fortune for all ☀️☀️🙏🏻🙏🏻
