What a great achievement to write a book with scientific detail yet accessible to all. The book clearly presents how the physical and mental experiences of our lives live together in our memory and body. This goes beyond the traditional biopsychosocial model into greater understanding of how we respond to trauma and stress. Not just big life-changing events but everyday stress too. Such a fantastic read for therapists in how we work with our clients influencing both physical and mental well-being.
