We're a national non-profit, providing a wide range of mental health services on behalf of the NHS and local authorities, including NHS talking therapies, crisis support, dementia care, supported housing, nursing care, and community wellbeing support. If you feel unable to keep yourself safe, call 999 or visit your local A&E department. For 24-hour support, you can call Samaritans on 116 123 or text SHOUT to 85258.

We’re looking for a passionate leader to join Everyturn Mental Health and drive a community-led approach to mental health support 💜

You’ll work across NHS, VCSE, and local partners to develop wellbeing spaces, champion co-production, and ensure services truly reflect the needs of the communities they serve.

This role is all about building connections, empowering people, and making services accessible and inclusive. You’ll lead a small team, foster strong partnerships, and use feedback and data to continuously improve the impact of the service.

We’re looking for someone with experience in community engagement, partnership working, and team leadership, someone excited to make a real difference in Northumberland!

We've secured grant funding to launch a new North East youth hub! 🙂

We’re so pleased to announce that we’ve been awarded grant funding from the Million Hours Fund, supported by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and The National Lottery Community Fund to create a new youth hub for people aged 11-18. They'll be able to access mental health support, in our existing North Tyneside Safe Haven on Wallsend high street 💜

It will be a safe, welcoming drop-in space offering young people free, inclusive activities, alongside mental health support, and the service will be co-designed with local young people!💡

Mandy Coppin, Head of Children and Young People at Everyturn said 💬

“This funding allows us to create a safe, welcoming spaces where young people can access the right support at the right time, without barriers or referrals."

“By co-designing the youth hub spaces with local young people and meeting them where they already are, we’re responding directly to what they’ve already told us; they need to feel supported, connected and confident.”

Life saving defibrillators now available at Everyturn Mental Health’s North East Safe Havens! ❤️

Our North East Safe Havens have purchased and installed three Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), which are now available at our Safe Havens to ensure our teams create even safer spaces for the people we support.

The AEDs have been supplied by London Hearts, a UK charity who increase access to defibrillators and life-saving training. They have already installed over 25,000 devices across the UK and trained more than 200,000 people nationwide, which includes giving detailed training to our Safe Haven teams on how to use these AED’s safely.

Emma Millar, Everyturn’s Patient Safety & Experience Manager commented 💬

“We’re incredibly proud to be working with London Hearts. Having AED’s available in our Newcastle, Northumberland and North Tyneside Safe Havens is another way of ensuring our service users and colleagues are safe”.

“And by registering our devices with The Circuit, a national defibrillator UK network, managed by the British Heart Foundation (BHF) and in partnership with the NHS, we’re also helping emergency services locate nearby AED’s, extending the support to anyone that needs it outside of our services.”

Happy Holi to everyone celebrating! 🎉

Holi is a Hindu festival that celebrates the arrival of spring, joy, and the triumph of good over evil.

Some families hold religious ceremonies, but for many Holi is more a time for fun. It's a colourful festival, with dancing, singing and throwing of powder paint and coloured water.
