Ski injuries aren’t just “bad luck”, the research is pretty clear⛷️

On average, there are ~2-3 injuries per 1,000 skier days, and 30-40% involve the knee (ACL is the usual culprit) 🦵

Most don’t happen on the first run… they happen when you’re fatigued, stiff, or lacking control.

That’s the bad news 🔴

The good news? A bit of prep reduces risk and keeps you on the slopes longer 🟢

Here’s what I get clients doing before a ski trip:
🎿Build quad + glute strength (protects the knee)
🎿Balance + neuromuscular work (single-leg drills)
🎿Hip mobility + warm-up before the first run
🎿Pace day one, don’t empty the tank early

Do the basics well → less stress on knees + lower back and more time actually enjoying your trip.
