Meet our incredible Thursday morning Woman of the Year, Jill…
“ I started my slimming world journey in feb 2025, will little to no confidence, walking through the door absolutely terrified but then quick realising that the room was filled with welcoming and very friendly people. Week by week my confidence grew and started taking part in the discussions in class, week by week watching the scales go down, my confidence has grown and grown. 21st August and am 4 stone 3 and half pound lighter and today got voted WOMEN OF THE YEAR 2025. Walking through the Slimming World door was the best decision I have ever made, so a massive thank you to Walker Slimming World with Chris and Lesley and the Walker Thursday morning group ###” #

What an incredible night we had on Tuesday in our Walker Slimming World with Chris and Lesley group.
Lisa West joined our group in May last year and has lost 9 stone in 15 months.
As well as receiving her 9 stone award and her Gold level Body Magic activity award, Lisa was crowned the groups Woman of the Year.
Lisa said that it is the support she gets from the group, which feels like family and has become part of her life now, that has motivated her to get to where she is.
