Today we celebrate International Guide Dog Day. These loyal and clever dogs are celebrated for their ability to work with their owners to give them independence and confidence. The most commonly used breeds for guide dogs in the UK are Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Standard Poodles, German Shepherds and Labrador-Golden crosses, all chosen for their temperament, intelligence and trainability. They are truly amazing. ❤🐾
