It was great to welcome Firefighters from Newent Fire Station to our training centre last night to refresh their life support skills.

Our lead instructor Gareth is an ex-Firefighter, so was able to contextualise the pre-hospital care skills used in a Fire & Rescue Service context.

It's great to be supporting our local station, and we are looking forward to working together more in the future.

Newent Food & Drink Festival and Cindyfest with a phenomenal homecoming set from EMF yesterday, with Coleford Music Festival running all weekend.

A busy couple of weeks for us. Armed Forces day, we had our clinical engineer friends from GMM SALES in for a visit doing annual tests on some of our kit (they will be back in December),and we sent one of our Ambulances to Gorsley Goffs Primary School to support them at their Summer Fete

Well that's a wrap for another year! First Aid sessions for over 500 primary students this week (and some pre-school too!)

EYFS, KS1 and KS2 students. Lots of varied activities including an Ambulance tour and trying on PPE for the Early Years students, up to CPR and use of an AED for KS2.

Wrapped up with some special pens and a certificate for everyone who took part.

Now time for our lead trainer Gareth to take a breath!

Fantastic day providing medical cover for Gloucester's Big Health Day, which we managed to combine with lots of CPR/AED demonstrations and practice. Lots of tours of the Ambulance too 😊
