Around 15 tonne of chestnut ready to be collected and off to become fencing stakes.

We recently had the task of clearing and area of trees and debris from Lambourn Gill, a tributary of the river Ouse near Newick.

A natural dam had formed over time where a significant amount of debris had built up against a large multi stem Willow that was growing across the stream causing flooding upstream during high rainfall periods.

With use of our digger and grab we were able to clear all the debris and cut back the Willow allowing the stream to flow freely once again and alleviate any further risks of flooding.

A nice little job completed in Newick recently, the removal of an old rotten fence which had been consumed by a significant amount of Ivy, replaced with two bays of 6ft closeboard.

We recently fitted some chestnut and stock netting deer protection around some newly planted trees for a customer in Chailey.

As an additional part of a large project we are carrying out in Piltdown we have been working with a local renewable energy contractor to dig trenches to instal ducting and cabling for a solar installation on the site.

The next stage of the project will involve installing surface drainage systems on the site prior to landscaping.
