📢 Paracetamol & Pregnancy - Important Update 📢

You may have seen recent headlines suggesting that taking paracetamol during pregnancy could increase the risk of autism in babies.

👉 The MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) has confirmed that paracetamol remains safe to use during pregnancy when taken as directed.
👉 There is no evidence to suggest that paracetamol causes autism or other neurodevelopment conditions.

Paracetamol continues to be the recommended painkiller during pregnancy.

If you’re ever unsure about taking medication while pregnant, please speak with your GP, midwife, or pharmacist for advice.
