What a man!

Connor, like so many other amateur athletes. Faces the struggle balancing their sport with their job.

In his case, working in the horse racing industry. There's a lot of early starts, late finishes and a lot of heavy lifting every day. Then adding on training jujitsu 3-5 days a week. Puts a lot of stress on the body.

It's been awesome seeing Connor's progression from a complete beginner, to this point. His passion and dedication has seen his progress go through the roof! It’s awesome to work with him with his recovery and I'm looking forward to seeing where he goes next πŸ“ˆ

Here's what to expect when you come for a session with me. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Sports massage - this uses a variety of techniques to help increase blood flow; reduce any protective tension or fatigue; improve flexibility; and increase range of motion. Helps you recover from injuries and ultimately help you move and feel at your best.

Dry cupping - cups are placed on the skin to create a vacuum. This lifts and decompresses the tissue, increases blood flow to the area and help improve mobility.

There are a number of techniques, including: static, flashing or sliding. Which i'll use depending on the situation.

Scraping - where I use a tool rather than my hands. This allows me to produce more force over a smaller surface area. This typically creates an increase of blood flow and stimulates the healing response. Plus, it's a different stimulus, which the person on the table may react better to than normal massage techniques.

All of these are utilised within our sessions where necessary to help keep you in top shape.

Here's a glimpse into how I've helped Harry through injuries and helping him peak as he heads into race days.

Harry is one of the hardest workers I've come across, in terms of miles out running and time and effort in the gym. Which means he is a great athlete, but also presents a lot of problems for me to sort out!πŸ˜…

It's been awesome to see him go from a complete beginner to a high level runner! With PB's flying everywhere and crazy ultramarathons being completed.

I always look forward to seeing what's next for him! 🫣

More importantly, he's a top bloke! πŸ‘ŠπŸ»
