Having completed her masters degree which is the only validated course in Europe in teaching techniques for adjusting animals. Treatment is given using chiropractic techniques to align and balance the animal's musculoskeletal system. Like people, animals suffer from back, neck, pelvic and musculoskeletal problems and they can benefit from McTimoney treatment. This is achieved by manipulating any misaligned joints throughout the entire body, with special attention to the spine and pelvis, it helps both to restore and maintain health, soundness and performance. Most animals readily accept the treatment as only the practitioners hands are used and it focuses on speed and not force make the adjustments. The treatment of animals is currently regulated under the Veterinary Act. This means that permission from the animals usual vet needs to be sought before treatment.
