Martin’s journey is inspiring and motivating and PhysiOptima was there to help….

Martin says-

“I first started running because I’m all to aware that some people are unable to, my mum suffers from MS and even though I hated it at first - I felt lucky that I was able to lace up my running shoes and get after it.

After the initial hurdle of wanting to throw up/collapse for the first few weeks, I’ve grown to appreciate both the physical and mental benefits of running and on certain days might even consider myself a fan.

There is simply no greater way of lifting your mood than clocking a few miles and the fact that we’ve been able to raise over £5,400 for the amazing MS Society makes the effort well worth the while.

Obviously going from zero to 50k a week in the space of a few months took a fairly substantial toll on my body. It goes without saying that without Kristin’s magical powers of recovery I’d have found the final few months infinitely more difficult. Kristin is a miracle worker and a fountain of knowledge, I’d highly recommend anyone to utilise her expertise. “
