Today we were blessed with an incredible gift from our local celebrity Knitting Nana from Newport Pagnell.

She has worked very had for the last few months to create this masterpiece.

We enjoyed another session with Mark from MK Dons Community Trust
Everyone pushed themselves this afternoon and we learnt new exercises to help us do everyday tasks a little easier.

We had a great turnout for an afternoon of singing with Amanda Simpson.
In respect of it being Remembrance Day earlier this week Amanda sang songs from the era that everyone loved.

As today is World Kindness Day, we have had some lovely letters and postcards from kind people across the UK.

Today we went to our local coffee shop to help raise money for Willen Hospice and Linda from the community delivered some beautiful flowers for people living in the home.

This morning Gerry enjoyed walking down town with his ladies. Barbara enjoyed letting the wind blow the cobwebs away too.
We love popping out for tea and cake at our local coffee shop too.

Here at Castlemead we love nothing more than a coffee morning and a good gossip.
We indulged in biscuits and sausage rolls and even had an impromptu choir practice!

We all got busy with Christmas colouring this afternoon.
We are planning to make something colourful and creative.

We paid our respects on Remembrance Day by holding a two minutes silence followed by entertainment by the lovely and talented Leyla Holly Smith.
Leyla performed songs by Vera Lynn, The Andrew Sisters and more.
A good sing along was had by all.

Our choir practice was fantastic this afternoon.
Every week it seems to grow in size and confidence 🥰
We might not be the best ever but we certainly do have a laugh together 😂
